I think this was a enjoyable puzzle game. I didn't finish all the levels at the time of this comment but i got to 21. So far it feels fair with solutions that are purely logical.  The visual style is really good , great audio feedback. The tutorial was cool but i think some kind of way to skip it would be nice since some people would read the description first and that also explains the game mechanics, also its not that different from traditional nonogram puzzle. Great game!

Developer

You're close, if you make it there's a little ending :P

Thank you very much for the comment. I'm so glad the solutions worked out for you, that was one of my biggest fears. I agree about the skip button. it will be included in the next version.

Hi Rubenuxo!

You had me hooked right from the interactive intro animation! It was such a clever and creative touch.

I feel like 90% of us in this jam focused so much on the mechanics that we ended up neglecting the lore! The amount of patience you put into the tutorial is almost saintly, and the explanation on your itch.io page is absolutely flawless.

As a huge nonogram fan, I absolutely loved both the game and its aesthetic!

You've got yourself a new follower. Thanks so much for this!

Best!

Developer

Thank you very, very much. I was waiting for feedback from a nonograms player, like myself, and realizing that the shift in mechanics was interesting for them.

I always set aside time for the tutorial. For me, it was essential to try to explain the rules to everyone in the simplest way possible. But I didn't plan on dedicating so much time to it or adding so many details. It was pretty insane.

The most unique concept I've seen, great job not going down the path most people, including myself did, I could see this being a full fledged game and I loved the art style and direction you had.

Developer

Thanks you! I came very close to following the obvious path, but in the end, I found it more interesting to try my luck with something else. Yes, I have some ideas for further developing the concept, I'll see if they end up working.

Submitted(+1)

The concept is amazing, I would love to see a full game made from this :)

Developer

Thank you, really. I'm trying some discarded ideas, but the difficulty increases too suddenly. I need to find a balance or progression.

I want to kiss your brain.

Developer

Jajaja, thanks? ❤️

I love the concept and the art! :D

Developer

Thanks a lot! 😊

I love the visuals, cutscenes and details its very fun and enjoyable

Developer

I'm glad you liked. The cinematics were the last thing to be added, but I can't imagine it without them anymore :D

Great attention to detail! Iove clippy who suddenly appeared
And just overall quite awesome puzzles!!

No clue how you've pulled the artstyle off but im digging it<3

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and come back to provide feedback. Have you noticed that Chippy also speaks on the main menu? :P

Regarding the art, even though it sounds like a cliché, I think the trick is to do less: lower resolution, fewer colors, etc.

Submitted

oh I havent even noticed that yet
hm and low res sounds obvious but still I've always had struggles with any pixel art in my projects because it always gets blurry or warps weird-
The art in this game is so fun

Well-balanced challenges; I enjoyed the game.

Developer

So you were able to learn the common patterns, nice! Thanks for the comment!

I love the visual style (seriously, the retro computer/terminal aesthetic is super cool)! Everything feels really clean and cute while still having so much character!

The brain game is real 😭 It's impressive that you design this all this in just 3 days.. I would genuinely play this on my phone while I’m on the bus or trying not to doomscroll lol

Really fun and polished game! Amazing!

Developer

Thanks a lot! This kind of levels/puzzles are relatively easy to design, I even removed some that were too difficult :P

Yes, I also think a mobile version could work with a few tweaks.

Very cool style. I wish the intro seen between chippy and dad could be skipped but other than that really like the concept.

Developer

Thanks! I was thinking the same during the playtest. But in the end, I didn't add a skip option, because if you skip the tutorial, it's very difficult to understand the rules. In any case, the next version will definitely have it.

Cool game, lovely style. Never thought I'd play a puzzle game for this long!

Developer(+1)

Cool! Mission accomplished then.

Love the sound design, and the gameplay is cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I wanted to include some ambient sound too, but there wasn't time, I guess there were too many useless little animations 😅

Submitted

The animations are really impressive though, I'm glad they are included. even the little icons on the bottom-right that clash! ^o^

Though I'm not a puzzle solver, this one got me warming my ass on my seat for near 20 mins. Really impressive for a game that is made in less than 3 days. Very stylized and challenging.

Developer

Nice, Thanks! If you liked it you should try any Picross, the board is inspired in this games.

Love it! Simple and coherent style, with lots of small delicious details. All the little audio and visual feedback make it fun to experiment with solutions, even if you keep getting it wrong. I was not smart enough for the later levels (30 levels?!) but had a lot of fun with it anyway. Great puzzle game and very impressive work for a 72 hour jam.

Developer

Thanks a lot!

The levels are supposed to be the easy ones... if you know the common patterns (like in Picross) 😅
