Hi!

This game reminded me (in the best possible way!) of that Simpsons episode where Lisa and Bart complain about having to clean the yard and ask to play a VR video game instead... about cleaning the yard!

Don't get me wrong, the irony is brilliant, and so is the idea!

Great art style and a fun little game! I did not survive but had a good time trying, at least. Yours is the second game I've played in the jam that just says one word, "Hypothermia" for its game over screen - is that just a coincidence or is there a meme/reference I'm missing??

Nice one!

I kinda shocked I read a "time machine" and "bitcoin" on your desc, like LOL! What an interesting premise haha.
The gameplay concept itself is intriguing to play.

I see that this is your first game jam, and you've done well!
Have fun for the future game making process!

Great concept! It was simple but I think you executed it really well.

I really like the physics and the wind shader, everything feels really responsive and smooth!

Cool art that is easy to tell whats going on! I had a good time with this one, thanks for making it!

You know what? This was actually quite an original game I must say.  The little wind lines and having to detect a cluster of leaves for shelter. Haven't seen it before! I actually thought it was interesting and I enjoyed playing it.

Oh and it was hilarious to constantly get hit by beer bottles for no reason and just drop my rake and have to pick it back up 😁 Slapstick comedy is the best.

Great job!

Very good pixel art and funny concept.

A very cute game with beautiful art and responsive controls. I didn't really understand what was required of me, though.

lol. I knew it will happen. There is a video of me playing it. When you gather enough leaves it will create a collider to block the wind raycasts (its direction is indicated using the wind particles and the background) which deal damage overtime. Nonetheless, thank you for playing!

Ah, that's what I thought. I just couldn't manage to gather enough leaves.

impossible, 5 btw

What a weird game, I loved it! The raking mechanic works really well and the controls are responsive. Well done

The run animation was really fun, and the game is really creative. Great job!

The movement animation genuinely gave me so much joy! This was so much fun, especially once I figured out how to stop getting hypothermia! 😅😅

I liked the idea of using the leaves for protection against the wind; since using the tool required picking it up, I took it to be optional—and realized it truly was. To survive, stay in the corners where the leaves had piled up.

Me too buddy, me too...

The best one from the jam I've tried so far. I laughed a lot. It took me almost twenty attempts, but I defeated the wind!

The game and animations are really nice! I had a bit of trouble figuring things out at first, but that's just because I'm an idiot. Really great work!

Best run animation of the jam! Love the way you bounce around and the particles + footstep sounds you make when moving. Great level of detail for such a short jam. Gameplay was fun, satisfying and easy to understand. Lovely little arcade game.
