Hi all,
Since today (Oct 13), builds I push with butler to my game's html5 channel take hours to go live, and while one is processing, every new push is refused. I emailed support but haven't heard back yet, so I'm asking here in case someone has seen this or knows a fix.
Game: https://min-max-felix.itch.io/hordebreaker (channel html5; linux and windows are pushed the same way)
What happened:
- 11:12 UTC: pushed build #2119520 (0.4.0+4086e0c). Butler said "Build is now processing", as usual.
- Pushes after that failed with:
itch.io API error (400): /wharf/builds: channel html5's latest build is still processing, try again later. I retried every 30 s for 15 minutes with the same result. - #2119520 only finished somewhere between 12:00 and 15:40 UTC.
- 15:30 UTC: pushed #2120364 (0.4.1+6088bc4). At 15:40
butler statusstill showed it as processing.
Earlier builds on the same channel (about 10 MB zipped, Godot 4 web export) went live within a minute or two, and the change in these builds was tiny (a ~200 KB patch).
Questions:
- Is html5 processing delayed on itch's side right now?
- Is there a way to cancel a build that's stuck in processing, so the next push isn't blocked?
- Is there a limit on how often a channel can be pushed that I might be hitting? I pushed about four times today, at least an hour apart.
Thanks!
