Hey! I have a suggestion for A Long Way Down! Could you make it clearer that the kid is in real danger when falling from a great height? 😨
It would be cool to show the ground getting closer, add stronger wind sounds, make the camera shake slightly, and use a dramatic warning effect as the kid falls. If he hits the ground, a screen effect and a game-over scene could show how dangerous the fall was.
These details could make the falling feel more intense and help players understand the risks while playing. Keep up the good work! 🚀
My game is Ferroline by XIllixv,
Ferroline — Industrial Systems
Build a small factory into a living industrial complex. An original offline automation game.
Start with basic extractors and belts, then expand into multi-floor plants that process ores, chemicals, and electronics. Manage power, pollution, research, and contracts while your machines keep running. Design your own production chains, dig deep shafts, run modular reactors, and scale from a single foundry floor to an orbital industry.
Offline, browser-based, with sandbox and career modes. No ads, no accounts required.

**Eryndor — The Last Vigil** (free playtest build, Windows)
Pixel art survivor-like in the vein of Vampire Survivors, with a story: you play Kael, who keeps returning from death. Nine regions, 13 weapons with evolutions, bosses, hand-made places (towns, mines, castles, a forest sanctuary) and a hub that changes as you progress.
Early test build (0.9.0) — I'd love to hear about crashes, anything that looks off, and difficulty.
This game was made by AI.

¡Hola!
I like the angled, top-down 2D view (something I want to try in the future). Your map image looks especially clean and engaging. Makes you want to explore what is beyond the borders. And grave-digging!? I have played enough fantasy games to know…the dead don’t always stay dead, so be careful all ye who enter that graveyard!
Hi everyone! I'd like to share a project I've been working on: **SIMPL**, a free interpreted language and IDE that runs pseudocode exactly as it's written.
It's built on the official Cambridge pseudocode guide (AS & A Level Computer Science, 9618), which thousands of students use for their exams but usually can only write on paper. With SIMPL they type an algorithm, press Run, and see the result, or an error explained in plain words.
A few things that might interest fellow devs:
• The guide is a spec meant for paper, full of gaps: SIMPL fills them as a strict **superset**, and a "Cambridge strict mode" lists every extension a program uses, with the guide section it refers to
• A full IDE: syntax check while typing, a debugger with Step Over/Into/Out, and a **trace table filled in automatically** as the program runs
• Classes, inheritance, pointers, records, files, plus graphics, sound and keyboard input: the sample programs include a small BASIC interpreter and a falling-blocks game, both written in SIMPL itself
• Free, offline, no installation, Windows and Linux
👉 https://simpl-pseudocode.itch.io/simpl
One small favour: SIMPL is free and aimed mainly at young students, so being discovered is the hardest part. If you try it and genuinely find it useful, a like or a short review on AlternativeTo would really help it reach the people it's made for:
https://alternativeto.net/software/simpl--pseudocode-interpreter/about/
Only if you think it deserves it, of course. Feedback of any kind is just as welcome. Thanks for reading!

🪞 REFLECTIONS OF HER — Spooktober Visual Novel Jam
Your reflection moved four frames late. Then it smiled. You didn’t.
7:12 AM. October 31. An invitation to a masquerade you’re sure you’ve already attended.
You came looking for your sister. Instead, seven masked women are waiting, and each one knows something about you that you don’t.
Seven masks. Seven feelings. One woman who is none of them and all of them.
Reflections of Her is a psychological horror visual novel.
How do you judge someone who is never just one thing?

I'll play your game, leave honest feedback, and I'd appreciate it if you could do the same for my game.

Thank you for sharing your game! 🖤 I'd definitely love to try it myself when I get the chance!
We're hosting a community livestream tomorrow with a new format: instead of just one person playing, each creator gets a chance to showcase their own visual novel, and we'll explore the stories together and share feedback afterward.
If you'd like to present yours, email us at essrraaa.alii@gmail.com with your game's title and itch.io link, and our team will get back to you!
You're also welcome to join our Discord and watch the stream:

Hey everyone!
We're a two-person indie team developing ZAR, a 3D physics-based dice roguelike inspired by Balatro, Slay the Spire, and other strategy games.
Build powerful dice, combine unique abilities and relics, and throw your dice into a 3D arena to create crazy combos and defeat enemies!
After about 3.5 months of development, our public alpha is available to play for free on itch.io!
https://happysealgames.itch.io/zar
We're planning to launch our Steam page soon, followed by a Steam demo in Q1 2027.
Our main focus right now is improving the core gameplay, balance, and UI/UX based on player feedback before the Steam demo.
We'd love for you to try the alpha and let us know what you think! All feedback, suggestions, and bug reports are greatly appreciated.
Thanks for supporting our game! 🎲
