The visuals are really nice! Going deeper and deeper down into that place is creepy in the best way, and it builds a great sense of dread.

One thing I got stuck on was the voice part. I tried to speak to someone but got no response or sound, so I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do. A small on-screen hint there might help other players too.

Great work overall, keep it up!

If you get a chance, I’d love for you to try mine too: Uninvited Chickos, a Halloween rhythm runner with two chickens escaping a goblin feast 🐔

Is it possible to upload your game as a web build? If so comment back when you do and I'll play it!

I liked the look of the game and using microphone is an original idea, but I couldn't get very far because the small FOV(field of view) makes me feel claustrophobic.

This game was so dark that it was only playable at night, without any lamp on. Then, the environment looked depressingly real and spooky. But I was only able to get some stairs down to a room without any usable exit. And nothing happened. I'm sure you have planned for more than an eerie walking simulator.

You wrote about voice input but the game did not react on it.

And there was no sound. At all. A game with that places importance on sound _must_ have any sound! Put an ambience there, at least.

And, interactions. Were some doors interactable? Did not seem so. The intercoms? They were at several places but did not show an [E] or something. Missed opportunities.

The strength of the game lies in its environment. The weaknesses, everywhere else. Yeah, it has potential. Complete it!

Thank you for the detailed feedback, this is really helpful.

The prototype was actually built to test the voice contronl, which is why there is currently nothing else to interact with.

A few quick questions

1. Is microphone access enabled for the game? In Windows -> Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Microphone, and "Let desktop apps access your Microphone" needs to be on.

2. Is Windows speech recognition set to English or German? The voice control uses the built-in Windows recognition.

Thanks again.

Dude, what did you do. What a great level design. There was nothing to do but it didn't matter, your level was incredible.

So, so scary music, echoing footsteps, a few zombies, and you are ready to rock and roll.

I gave 5 stars on everything because the level was so good.

I tried the mic, no go. Also you need to capture the mouse in the game frame. I have 2 monitors and the mouse kept going outside the game

Thank you so much for the kind words, that means a lot!

You´re right about the mouse, with two monitors the cursor could leave the window. I've fixed that in a new bugfix-build the mouse is now locked to the game.

Regarding the mic, the game uses Windows Speech Recognition, so it needs a supported recognition language (English or German) and microphone access enabled in Windows privacy settings. After the jam, i'm adding a status message in the menu so it´s clearer when voice isn't available.

Thank for testing!
