I liked how the music and visuals escalated with the story.

Not usually a fan of puzzle games but this one had a fun premise.
I don't if this is drawn in paint but I liked the look.

I liked the look of the game and using microphone is an original idea, but I couldn't get very far because the small FOV(field of view) makes me feel claustrophobic.

Took me a few tries to get sub 3 but got it.
I wonder if we had similar inspiration for our games.

I liked the music, looks and especially the mechanics.

Eventually I got stuck somehow and couldn't move but if the game doesn't have an ending anyway that doesn't matter.

I liked it, especially the overall art style.

My only point is what other have said how some words have multiple solutions but only one is valid.

I made some progress but unfortunately I couldn't finish it.

I liked the looks and the feel of the game though.

The game looks, plays and sounds amazing!

The only thing I would have liked is a harder level.

The sounds effects were hilarious!
Also liked the monsters designs.

Thanks for playing.

You're not the first person to say it, so I should have made it clearer but you can only plant them on green tiles that were occupied by red weeds previously (ie liberated tiles)

Hey,
Enjoyed the game, especially the art and especially at the end.
The gameplay also allowed some fun strategies like repeatedly healing from an enemy using Vampirism.
I got 250 Candy.

Hello fellow trains enjoyers.
I enjoyed the game, especially the art. It was quite polished for a 10 day game jam.

Yeah I've had that issue before and I thought I had fixed it but I guess not...

I've uploaded another version now hopefully fixing it but I can't reproduce it so who knows

Congrats on your first jam!

I liked the music and flavour text. The only thing missing from a classic clicker game is the increasing cost for an upgrade each time you buy it.

Thanks for playing.

I tried to not make it too easy but based on the comments I made it too difficult. Here's a video of level 4:

Yeah I realised the aiming might not be completely intuitive so I wanted to add a laser sight to the weapons but ran out of time.
I tried to mitigate that a tiny bit by making so that when you aim at the ground the bullet goes slightly higher on the vertical axis to help a little bit without making it too jarring.

As you said it's quite difficult - especially with a keyboard - but you warned us about that. It does play and look nice though.
As someone who always plays with Mouse + Keyboard I would have appreciated being able to attack and aim with the mouse but I can understand that that wasn't a priority.

Very fast paced - I like it. And the art is great as well.
I managed to survive 176 seconds.

Cool game, especially if you made all the sprites yourself - they look good.

Thanks for playing! That's a lot of useful feedback.
Yes I can see how an indicator for the current weapon would be useful. I also wanted to allow the player to switch weapons using the scroll wheel, but I couldn't get it working in time. And at least a stagger animation for the player and enemies would be a good addition, yes.
I might have made the game too difficult again by balancing it around me, but since I know how the game works, someone who plays it for the first time might find it too difficult. I should probably decrease the enemy hp a bit after the jam. But hopefully most players will be able to try out all the weapons.

Great game  - gets really intense and it feels very satisfying when you get a large fleet around you.
Got to 3000 score.

Excellent game. Very polished in all areas and I love the playable characters, especially Pistachio.
The only feature that would be nice to have is the option to auto-upgrade your weapons if you have the cash when you reroll. It just takes a long time when you get 100000+ gold to go over each item each time you reroll.

Hi, you can sprint with Shift and you move faster when you're moving in the direction you're looking.
But yes that's not something explained in the game.

I've played 40 games and I thought that's a decent number but more than 100 is pretty nuts.
Here's my game, War for the Planet of the Furries: /jam/gamedevtv-jam-2024/rate/2749995

Quite thematic and morbid, especially considering world events.
I liked it, I only wish the field of view was larger because I find small FOV somewhat clastrophobic, but even AAA games tend to have FOV too small for my taste.

I really enjoyed it. It was fun trying to control the recoil - it felt like playing csgo a bit.
I just wish we had more ammo. I finishied the game with only 5 assault rifle bullets left and I was trying to preserve ammo as much as possible.
The AI also felt very good - the enemies were trying to spread out and flank me and that's better than many AAA games.

Very good! Starts a bit slow but quickly gets intense. Made it to wave 7.
Most games here(including mine) just put the story text in the menu but you animated your story and it looks  great.

Fun game - good variety of enemies and a satisfying to use power up.

Cool premise and fits the theme perfectly. Growing the factory and figuring out how much the souls were wiling to pay for items was fun. I only wish I was able to speed up the game.

Fun interpretation of the theme.
I second the idea to add a screenshot to the itch.io page for the game, it shows people it's not an empty page.

I remember playing those kinds of puzzles as a kid. Took me a while to remember how to do them.

Looks like a good base for a future game. I liked how the recoil pushed the player back.

Even though it needs more features, it is indeed a good base for an autobattler.

Decent little platformer. Some parts felt challenging but that's probably because I am not great at platformers.

Looks great!
More games need a similar artstyle.

Even though it's simple it looks nice and the music is very calming.
At one point I thought that it would have been better with a time deadline, but then I realised how calming it as and that it didn't need the stress of a timer.

Rare to find any RTSs among these gamejams, let alone something as good as this one. It has many of the elements of classic RTSs like balancing playing greedy vs safe, there is some micro involved etc.
I noticed the mechanics of the game lead to some morbid strategies - it's a lot faster to evacuate stations close to the evac point so those are best to be evacuated first so they can grow the economy, but that means using the furthest ones as a human shield made of billions of humans.
My PB is  30 days and 23 hours with 31160 million people saved. I have a feeling that the freighters are actually quite bad compared to the transport ships so I might have done a bit better if I hadn't used any but I am happy with my score. This is probably my favourite game of the jam so far and I will probably to make an RTS next jam as well.

Had fun chasing off the other pigeons and loved the main menu art.

Cool take on tetris but since it doesn't get harder over time it's too easy and I never needed the Last Stand.

Quite challenging but I had fun. Reminded me  of those old NES, almost impossible platformers. Got to 42 score.
