Really cool, I love flicking back and forth between the different islands, and the combo of the abstract 3d environments with the 2D ghosts looks very fun and unique. Feels tamagotchi-esque which doesn't really make sense but that's how it feels to me. Like a weird funky pet sim. I can imagine a more polished and developed version of this being awesome. Thanks for sharing your game!
I thought the art style was great. I liked how you put each of the characters onto different islands and had your camera swooping in-between them; I think you could push this concept even further and have each of these little vignettes built into a single scene and rely on these fun camera movements to guide the player around it to the different characters/scenarios. +1 for getting an ending in here, too!
Cool environments, fun dialog, and nice art. Nice little game! I saw in your description that this was one of your first 3D games. I think you're going to be great at making 3D games in time, considering this was your first!
Nice dialog. I really love the art style in this one too.
The camera movement was cool, and the limitation was done in a pretty cool way too honestly, and having a unfinished end did kinda bum me out. the ghost's dialogue was quite charming too! Staying in the moment sometimes is really important ahah. Good job!!
Really like the ghosts and their dialogues ! Great game, nice job :)
Solid entry! Camera angles were fine in my opinion and the dialogue from some of the ghost got a chuckle out of me. I loved the art style and I think some SFX would've really elevated the experience, unfortunate about the laptop situation. Great work though!
Not too shabby with applying the limitation of things changing when looking away. However, players can't really control the camera so we can tell we're looking away once we move to a different platform to interact with various ghost characters (I think?). Camera movement in 3D isn't really that hard to get working.
The dialogues that I've had with all the ghost characters are cool interactions that I've had to experience as a player.
The death is so absurd, isn't it? Yes, yes it is. This was a fun and unique experience mixing 2D and 3D art. The visual design for the ghostlings is cute and unique, and I like how we are rewarded with little animations! Cool use of limitation in this context!
Maybe the true happiness lies in the moment caretaker. This is super unique and interesting the art style is really fun and I enjoyed the swooping camera movements made it feel very active and not just a flat static camera with dialog.
Really cute. Im kinda bad at following the story but itβs still a unique style.
I think I managed to complete the game? Since all the ghosts were just saying the same thing, and the middle ghost is not responding to any clicks. It was a good attempt at 3D and an art style that I rarely see.
i accidentally broke the winning screen at the last moment :(
thank you!
