LOL those sneaky gnomes - what a fun spin on the limitation! Really enjoyed playing although maybe it was just me being dumb at first but when you have to fill the coffee beans up to grind, it says to use a "mug" so i kept grabbing a regular mug and got super confused haha - figured it out eventually! Great game and the 2D characters in the dialogue were so cute paired w/ the 3D models (: love it!
Haha awesome cozy coffee simulator! These sneaky gnomes kept stealing everything! I had fun making coffee for the costumers however sometimes the game crashed when I crouched. I would also suggest a sensitivity setting. Very good experience overall
Hahaha, so cute and funny! I really like the cozy color palette, it fits the autumn atmosphere so well.
If I could give a few suggestions, so there are:
- The game screen feels a bit too large for my monitor, so it was a little laggy and I couldn’t see the whole screen at once, I guess.
- The movement feels a little slow, which made the controls feel slightly sluggish to me.
I’m totally in love with the character facial expressions! Keep up the great work!
Loved the lady complaining about not having pumpkin spice lattes XD. Really cool to see a 3D barista game in the jam! The cafe and characters were super charming, and I liked the little placement guides showing where everything goes. Nice bit of polish that made preparing the drinks feel smoother. And those pesky gnomes were a fun way to incorporate the limitation lol. Nice work!
Very fun and silly game. Loved and hated the gnome at the same time. Great work!
Both the visual and audio aesthetic have a fun vibe that make the game experience enjoyable, with a gameplay loop that feels intuitive and rewarding. I like how the limitation was used, though it could use some balancing - it didn't affect days 1-3 for me much at all, but made day 4 almost impossible. Some possible ideas I had while playing were that I wish I could reach over the counter to grab stolen items, or to be able to run quick enough from behind the counter to grab stolen items, though I foresee an issue arising regarding collision with the gnomes there. I think it would be cool to be able to take and prep multiple orders all at the same time too! This was a ton of fun, and I do hope you continue working on this! Congrats, team!
Absolutely loved this! The characters and gnomes were adorable, and the café was lovely too! Such a creative use of the limitation. Very well done!
Really fun game. I kept clicking Ctrl + W accidentally closing the browser tab.
I really enjoy the gameplay loop! I love the idea of gnomes taking things from our work station, and the visuals are just great. They remind me a bit of Animal Crossing. Really great work!!
It turns out, I didn't know much about running a coffee shop. I was in shambles trying to make my first latte, but I figured it out eventually. Characters were cute, but sometimes the gnomes didn't stop when looking at them. It was also frustrating when the gnomes took items from the machines. Gameplay loop is pleasent and the art is great. Well done everyone!
MIA IS THE BEST CUSTOMER!!!! CUTE GAME!!!
(quick thing though if the gnomes still the spoon while its in the machine , you cant continue the game T-T )
The gnomes stole all my milk!! Very cute game and great art. I lost on level 1 because I couldn't figure out how to make a latte lol.
Very solid game. Impressively polished and actually fun to play. I wouldve liked a interactive tutorial, like a glowing machine or something because I have no idea how this coffee brewing works. Other than that… I lost to the gnomes, lol.
