The aesthetic of the game is really cool, reminds me of buckshot roulette or cloverpit. The controls for the rocket are quite hard to get the hang of, still the idea is really cool, congrats !

Thanks! Yea I actually initially made the controls way more responsive, but i made a mistake and tied the dampening of the rotation speed of the rocket to frames, therefore on a proper build with high fps its way more responsive, and thats how i been testing the game all the time, but it looks like the web build caps the fps at some point, therefore giving less friction

i relate hard, damn web builds always breaking something that's been working perfectly fine the whole time

Developer

yea man, totally agree, i actually spent like an hour figuring out why the aspect ratio of the game breaks when i do a web build, alongside that most of the particle effects just not render for some reason in the web build, while working perfectly in a normal build :/

Launching rockets to ram the space junk is a fun idea, and I liked that taking out trash gives you your metal back. The trash came in pretty fast while I was still getting used to the A/D steering, my first run was over in like 30 seconds. A slower first wave would’ve helped me get the hang of it.

Developer

Thanks a lot! Yea the tutorial sequence i made in like an hour before submission, thats why trash started to fly so quickly

for me the gameplay is a little bit hard i think it's just me tho :)))  but the visuals give off such a Game Boy vibe, really nostalgic!!!

Developer

thanks a lot for the feedback!

This is a tough one, it would be nicer with some warning of an incoming trash/increased range of view or making the controls more responsive. However the sound design and visuals are really interesting!

Developer

thanks a lot for the feedback! Yea I realised after the submission was done that the game can be quite confusing and hard...

Neat game! I agree that the game poses a fun challenge to players, not just in terms of controlling the rocket but also timing your launches well. I do think the controls though can be a bit too difficult, so either maybe making the planet smaller or making the controls feel smoother might help in the future. Overall though, this was solid.

Developer

Thanks a lot!

The controls are really tricky, which makes for a fun challenge. Being able to see further or getting a warning indicator would help without taking away from the skill-based challenge.

Thanks a lot for the feedback!
