I love the game but I suck at it just as much as I suck in Celeste, the fact that you managed to pull this off in such a short time is insane. Great job!

Developer

thank you so much l’m very happy that you loved it and l’m more happy that you felt the vibe of a great game like celeste from my game

cool game, let me relive my celeste ptsd a bit 😅 art is cool too, I liked it

Developer(+1)

I really inspired the movement a little bit from Celeste and I’m happy it delivered you the celeste vibe and iam happy it liked you ❤️

The amount of polish on this is crazy. Really this was a great entry! I did notice the main menu had a gap on the right side in fullscreen. I do have an ultrawide screen which may mean it wasn't noticeable in development. You could set the screen size to stop that or extend the main screen and make sure it's centered on many different screens.

Developer(+2)

thank you for that detailed explanation of the problem and i’m happy that you liked the game 😊

It's a skill issue, I guess, but I can't go further the first "x for grap" mechanic. If I could hold to the wall longer it might help I think. Because if you don't play platformers a lot, this kind of things need some time to master.

It's simple, just keep pressing X  While on one side, face the wall, then press Jump again. You will rise slightly, and quickly press X. Pull yourself up against the wall, then repeat the process.

What a beautiful platformer! Love the art style and the hook mechanic. There are so many little details that make the whole experience feel really smooth and fluid!

The only thing that felt a bit off to me was the wall jump. It felt a little too rigid. I understand it's probably intentional to encourage players to use the hook, but something about it just didn't feel quite right.

Other than that, really great work!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much and you are right the rigit wall jump was made by that way to encourage the players to use the hook instead of the wall jump and it is was inspired by the wall jump in celeste but i think i didn’t nail it enough because of the limited time of the game jam sorry for that 😅

The monkey is so cute!

I had a lot of fun playing this game.

I'm impressed by how polished it is, especially considering it was made in just 9 days!

Developer

thank you for you opinion about the art 😊

Insanely polished platform with satisfying game mechanics! Amazing work for such a short time!

thank you so much ☺️

Wow that was a super fun precision platformer! Incredible work for such a short time! You genuinely have the bones of a really fun full game here. I do think I soft-locked myself and had to start over at one point; The ball thing that can be tossed onto spikes ended up in an out-of-reach area in a puzzle that I think I needed it for, and I didn't see a way to reset it to its original position. Regardless, easily one of the most fun games in the jam I've tried so far!

Developer(+2)

Thanks for that nice feedback , I really appreciate that and iam sorry for the error that faced you :)

No problem, I was genuinely blown away by how well everything worked in such a small time constraint. Really great job!

Great work on this, old-school platformer vibes.

Very cute graphics!

Thanks ☺️

Fun little game. I like the visuals and the idea of the hook mechanic, although it was a little awkward to use.
As a note, I got soft locked a couple times because I accidentally threw a required object into a pit. Also, theres an unexplained climbing mechanic that lets you climb on spikes it seems? I dont think its intended

Developer(+2)

Yeas it is not intended to be a spike climb 😅 , but i really did not have a time to test it enough so sorry thats my fault

Submitted(+1)

I really like the vibe and style of the game but unfortunately i get stuck in the loading screen each time (windows version)

Developer(+1)

Sorry for that problem , I'll see this problem as soon as the game jam ends

Submitted(+2)
