Doesn't really fit the comfy theme, but I liked it a lot. There's a surprising amount of depth that you got out of these door puzzles and it was cool to see it unfold.
I did encounter two glitches that forced me to restart the game. One was where the sleep paralysis monster found me in the starting room, and then kept killing me as soon as I woke up. The other was that there was an extra door in the starting room when I got caught, but the door didn't really open. It acted like it did but I couldn't go through it and couldn't use the other door because "a door was already open".
Besides all that, this is a really cool game that I honestly think you could flesh out into a whole release.
Cool game with great atmosphere. I couldn't find 1 bug while playing. Great job!
Thank you so much! That's great to hear :D
Wow... what a cool experience. I was blown away by the door mechanics!! There were so many things to do and I loved every single puzzle, I think this has a lot of potential.

Glad you liked it, thank you for playing it!
What an amazing game!! I'm not usually a fan of the horror genre, but this wasn't overly scary so I liked it (except for the giant stomping shadow man - that was terrifying)! I played this game for about an hour and still had more to explore and figure out - just shows how much content you were able to put in here. These kind of walking puzzles also aren't usually a strong point for me, and even though I took lots of notes, I wasn't able to beat the game.
I'm astounded at how much content you managed to include and how well you incorporated the limitations (including "something follows you")! Also, in an hour of playing the game I didn't find a single noticeable bug! Great job.
Thank you so much, very kind of you. I'm a workaholic, so I couldn't help myself from adding more and more. But that also meant that the game was a bit of a buggy mess, so I'm glad you didn't encounter any!
Hooooo boy this jumpscared me a few times. XD Such a fun game though, and great execution.
Thank you! I jumped-scared myself several times while developing too :D
spooky yet chill, its like roblox DOORS but cozy puzzle game. Good job!
Thanks, haven't heard of it but I'll check it out!
Wow! First game in this jam to make me jump ๐ The graphics and audio worked brilliantly together to create such a strong atmosphere. I couldnโt quite figure out the puzzles, but theyโre not my strong point, and I gave it a solid go! Such an impressive game, very well done!
Thank you for testing! Did you get jump-scared by a cow by chance?
Man, this game really messes with your mind. And holy "cow", did that catch me off guard ;) The whole experience was truly haunting, and the atmosphere did such a good job of making me feel uneasy while exploring. This is seriously such a cool concept for a puzzle game; I could easily see myself playing a full-length version of this.
I like how the doors worked like portals, leading to the same rooms no matter where you entered from. Such a clever mechanic, especially how you worked the letters into the different puzzles. It really made me stop and think about how everything was connected. I loved that feeling of wondering how a room would change this time around after figuring out the correct sequence. There's a lot of creativity here, and I can only imagine how much work went into putting all these puzzles together. Really impressive jam entry. Awesome work!
Thank you for these kind words. I appreciate you spending time testing the game!
This is an awesome concept for a game! Making doors in different places go to the same rooms and having them make up a code is such a great idea. I got stuck a few times after dreaming of dying and the respawn didn't work for me. The game wasn't very comfy experience and in my opinion you should definately lean more towards the horror genre. The game has fantastic atmosphere and has a lot of viral potential. Awesome job on the game!
Thank you! It was intended as a cozy game with horror elements but perhaps it should be a horror game with cozy elements ๐
Great game though I ran into a few bugs. After dying to the giant behind the H door, every time i went back to the H door they were blocking the door and I was unable to get though the door no matter how many times I tried, their foot was always blocking the way. Sometimes when I spawned back in the first room there was the outline of an O door that could be opened but there was a wall in the way so I couldn't actually go through it. After exploring around a bit the T and X doors in the attic overlapped and I was unable to use them anymore. And I had to reload them game when one of the pink orbs killed me while i was reading the note after doing the direction challenge, and I wasn't able to respawn or move, just jump and spin. Outside of these bugs that hindered my progress the game is really great. The sleep paralysis demon was frightening, I got jump scared by a cow (HA), and killed by a giant more times than I'd like to admit. Overall fantastic work and once the bugs are ironed out I think you would have something really great!
Thank you for the thorough feedback it means alot! I'm a bit sad I couldn't get some of these bugs out of the way before submitting, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully no cows will haunt your dreams going forward ๐
Really nice game. I really liked the puzzles and how the rooms change. The only thing is I eventually ran into the black ghost thing and then it started spawn camping me. Other than that great game :)
Thanks! Infact a very rude ghost
Really interesting puzzles and clever implementation of the jam's themes and limitations! The rooms being connected to the answers to the puzzles or letters of the word were also quite charming (My favorites being the "T" room and the "C_T" puzzle answer.) I managed to get as far as 4 letters discovered until I got stuck in the Backrooms-esque area. Despite my attempts to respawn or move, nothing would work. The rooms spaciousness really sells the sense of scale but it also made going through rooms and backtracking again a bit of a hassle. Lovely game and great work!
Thank you so much, and thanks for the feedback! The rooms seem to not load/deload properly in some specific scenarios, which I never managed to fix fully unfortanetly
The gameplay is fun to play, despite some bugs and bad optimization (or maybe it's just my laptop lol). Anyways great game for jam, I really enjoyed playing it!
Thank you!
