Very cool game! Absolutely love the atmosphere and morse mechanic. Took me a little bit to figure out there was a "hint egg" of sorts in every level (couldn't quite hear what was said in level 2 at first), but managed to beat the game then. A little cryptic at times, but really nice!
Finished it, most of the time by some measure of brute force though. Nice atmosphere!
I'm glad I played till the end :) I must say I guessed the level 2 word (well, bruteforced to be exact). Fun game and fun concept, I like that I could either flash or just move my flashlight (for the camera to be in or out of range) to send signals to the camera. It was also interesting that the park got smaller for the last level, this could easily be made a longer game in general. Visuals and audio were good, it's sad there were no audio controls, and volume up/down on my keyboard also made the player move left/right somehow :P It reminded me a bit (especially that one riddle involved audio etc.) the old online puzzle game "notpron", don't know if you heard of it, it just reminded me of some puzzles and bruteforcing some solutions there back in the day.
I really struggled with the audio of the level 2 puzzle, I couldn't discern what it was saying to signal it to the camera. Which is a shame, because visually and thematically this game is excellent.
Thank you so much for playing! I'm sorry to hear that, as I said in other comment, I think I went too far on the voice editing and it became kind of hard to hear, if you want to finish it later, a little tip is: the word the speaker is saying is in the hint phrase of the level.
I'm also building a post-jam version with a clearer voice in the speaker.
Great controls for the morse code! I love that it shows what you're writing. Also visually stunning, nice shader!
Thank you so much for playing! Yes I loved that retro shader, It's very hard to tune it so it doesn't make some weird pixel patterns but when you do it its very nice to see!
I liked the atmosphere and the puzzles are hard, is a good game
Thank you so much for playing!!
i really liked the atmosphere and the controls were good! past the first puzzle, it became really hard to read the messages. the speakers were pretty quiet and it was hard to tell when a code was starting and stopping, the shadows being the hardest imo, but i did still manage to work my way through the puzzles sorta through luck and context clues. it's a really cool concept! and i probably partly struggled with it due to just not being very adept with morse code lol. regardless, very good job!
Thank you so much for playing! I don't think it's your fault, others also said it's quite hard puzzles to do, I will try to tune them easier when the jam ends.
I feel like I actually learned something while playing. I loved the atmosphere, great work!
Thank you so much for playing! That's nice to hear, I also learned a lot making this game!
cool idea, puzzles were hard, but we finished 🥳
Thank you so much for playing! Yes maybe I went too far with the puzzles hehe, but I glad you could finish it!!!
I really like the graphics with this game. Gave me a lot of PS nostalgia!
Thank you so much for playing!
You’re welcome! Keep crushing it.
Kaz and I enjoyed the game, I thought the puzzles to start were hard to get started with, I also found the speaker a bit hard to find in some bits other than that we thought it was pretty good.
Thank you for playing! I think I went too far with the voicce editing there, I wanted it to sound like a megaphone but maybe that made the voice sound really not clear enough, also web browser export handles the audiostream3D differently from the desktop export I tried to tune it for the web browser but didn't tested the speakers, sorry, I will try solving this after the jam ends!
I loved this! The atmosphere is really eerie, and I love the pixelated look to it. I was a bit confused on how to solve the hints, they were pretty tricky :P Great job!
Thank you very much! As I said to others I think I did it poor on level design so it may not be your fault, I'll try to think about better level progression on jam's end.
Morse code games are really fun in general but this was even more so!
Love the idea and the setting! Good stuff!
Thank you very much for playing and commenting!
The tasks were very hard to understand, to the point where I think I may have just gotten lucky to pass even a few levels? I genuinely don't know if I did it right. But wow, what an incredibly cool idea, and a cool package. Art/sound/etc felt great.
Thank you for playing!!! I think I messed up a bit with game design, I should make thinks more obvious from the start but I thought it would make the game just boring, I'll keep your feedback in mind, thank you!
A very enjoyable experience in my opinion. I had some trouble in one of the puzzles. No spoilers, but I immediately understood how to find the hint, and my troubles were in actually understanding what it was, still very nice.
That's so cool, I was worried some levels would be kind of hard to understand indeed, thank you so much for playing!!!
I loved how the game uses Morse code! I found the hints to be mostly fine, but I was really lost on the penultimate puzzle. I would have also loved to have some kind of reminder of what the previous solutions were for the last puzzle
That penultimate puzzle I had no better ideas in mind but - SPOILER -
my reasoning was for every element of the park to signal 1 letter of the answer, from west to east- END OF SPOILER -. I also was planning to add the previous levels' answer on the sheet but I went out of time ;pThank you so much for playing!
