As a marketer from GameGenesis, I’m always curious about what people are actually enjoying these days 👀 Looking for game recommendations across any genre, something genuinely fun, addictive, or just underrated. What have y’all been playing lately?

I've completed Yuurand, a Zelda Classic quest. Previously, I've completed Yuurei and Lost Isle, both are quests from same engine.

Yuurand has multiple maps to play BTw and I only have completed one and is currently playing another map.

Lately I’ve been hooked on Abiotic Factor, an awesome Half-Life like game from an NZ developer.

Also building my own dark fantasy PvP card game where players permanently steal cards from each other after matches, so I’ve been deep into high-tension multiplayer design lately.

It's called Necromancer! and you can play it here.
Here's my Itch.io page.

I would have taken this chance to advertize my game but lately i have been enjoying Animal Well and Super Monkey Ball

not really a game more like a toy, but still, really fun

Falling sand like game, with a bunch of materials, optimized to go fast as heck in any machine

to unlock fps, click the "FPS" button, and choose the fps limit for the fast mode, that you can activate by clicking the button labeled "fast"

you can also save your world into an image, or a special .sand file thats really efficient, and also load images

compiled functions with numba, compiled into exe/linux executable with pyinstaller and dual booting

made with python

I suggest you to play tag after school game. It is the adult video game for android

I just released my narrative game for free after a few months making it with comparison to the demo, play here!
As for actual games, i highly Recommend Deflector, V Rising, CTRL Alt Ego and Incursion Red River. I have been playing thoose four the most lately and they are SO good. Honorable mention to Species Unknown!

I mean.. other people promoting their own so…

But genuinely do think this one is fun, addictive and I guess underrated. Others seem to think so too. If you can persist to try again. https://kadormazing.itch.io/robotron

We’ll spare you our other pretentious joke experimentation game XD

Is free btw

Full disclosure: I’m the developer, but Velderis might be worth checking out if you enjoy long-term RPG progression.

It’s a free fantasy MMORPG that runs directly in your browser on mobile and desktop, with quests, equipment, guilds, dungeons, bosses, PvP and a persistent shared world.

The game is live and still being actively developed, so feedback is genuinely useful:

We're looking for genuine players who enjoy sci-fi and survival games and can give useful feedback. Thanks, everyone! 🚀

For your search for lesser-known games, I’m sharing Virus Survivors on behalf of Portal Rabbit. It’s a free browser demo that mixes active aiming and shooting with building and upgrading a fortress against enemy swarms, so it may suit someone who likes both action and defensive planning.

It’s in development and uses generative AI assistance. Desktop is recommended; no download or game account is needed: https://portalrabbit.com/games/virus-survivors/
