The pixel art in the game is so so nice, and the music blended in with the game pretty well too! The story was very heartwrenching too... honestly, good job!!! I love narrative games like these

Cozy game right in the fells!
I feel like expanding on it you could go in the direction of unpacking where you tell a story by just showing the room itself and how it's changing over time and end with yourself being the elderly giving it to the next generation.
I liked it and thanks for the submission.
Such a sweet and heartbreaking little game. It felt so warm and cozy, which makes the ending hit even harder. Really liked the pixel art, especially the fireplace animation. Something about it just made the cabin feel so homey. The music fit perfectly too, definitely added to the feels haha. I also liked how you used the limitation as part of the storytelling, really clever way to go about it. It's impressive how much emotion you managed to fit into such a short game. Beautiful work!
Maaaaan, so sweet. Thank you for making this. Lovely work and great art
Loved how the music complements with the grandma sharing the story in her final moments.
The items were pretty easy to find too.
Sometimes during this jam I wish there was a story graph to vote in, awwww. Such a lovely game. Experienced a few bugs when the grandma was stuck in "keep looking" dialog even with every item on the list checked, but reloading fixed that.
Very nice, good job! ♡
Loved the art and music! And the game gave me a sense of bittersweetness and I'm surprised you were able to make such an emotional game with such a short story!
Yay thank you! I knew that I only had a week for this jam because of surgery and I knew that I could only do so much with my current skill level, so I went for a short story with a big heart. It feels so good to hear feedback that the story did touch hearts, that's been the biggest reward for me from this jam. :)
What a deeply emotional game! Such a beautiful story delivered so eloquently. I love point and click games, and even more so when they’re this heartfelt.
I bawled my eyes out playing this game (I already played it once before the submission deadline because the cover caught my eye) and the music did not help at all! It's a short but heartfelt game and I enjoyed it despite the "sad" ending.
This game is tooooooo relaxing, the music the vibe, it totally match the comfy chill autumn vibe. The pixel art and the audio of this game is really good.
Apart from that, Only thing i felt breaking the immersion is the font of this game, it totally didn't match the theme.
I wish the objects are more interactive in this game, like we can inspect them or the rooms are more interactive etc.
I'm glad that you liked the art, audio, and vibe! I would have liked to add more interaction as well but I had a few personal limitations when making this game, mainly that this was my 2nd game ever so I tried to keep the scope small while I learned how to do all the things, but also that I only had a week for the jam because I had a major surgery during the 2nd week. BUT as I continue to learn and grow as a developer I really want to do more in my games for sure! And the font lol, I meant to change that before submitting but I completely forgot! It's a font called Wizard Manse and I love it but yeah it didn't quite fit the Grandma's Cabin vibe lol.
Noooooooo. I had a feeling of how this was gonna go from the start... Well done on the limitation, gahhhhhhh.
This was quite minimalist but really well executed. Art was nice, and Fern is cute! Grandma is great. I liked a lot of the hidden polishes too, like the cursor changing and generous press-boxes. Good work.
Oh wow, I wasn't expecting that :O
Really interesting take on the limitation. Made me miss someone.
