You can now turn these off in your notification settings: /user/settings/email-notifications

Uncheck “Someone joins a jam I host” and save. This disables both the on-site notifications and emails for people joining your jams.

SWEET RELIEF! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

omg the sweet relief. It's like having a thorn removed from under a finger nail. Thanks, mod team!

FYI, the option currently floats outside of a heading on the settings page. It makes it unclear as to what the checkbox does. (Mobile, Safari).

oh, good point. i guess it turns off all notifications and also emails? it is a bit unclear.

THANK YOU!
