Haha I love this! I found it quite funny & it's a really good concept and the music is good. Great work!
Thank you so much! We're really glad you enjoyed :)
absolutely loved the concept especially the sooundtrack and the art of the rst wjen u finish a level, that was such a cheekily nice touch. i did find levels too easy thought but very well odne
We're so glad you enjoyed the game! EleventhAttic34 was very proud of that rat hahaha. We found ourselves in a bit of a dilemma for the levels, since we were very short on time and haven't had to make levels for a mechanic like this before. Thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback :D
WOAH THIS IS AWSOME! This is one of the most creative entries I've seen from both a theming and mechanical perspective. The main mechanic is great and feels very fun to control. On top of that, every other aspect of this game is so polished and oozing with personality, especially in aspects many others neglected, like the menus or sound design. I also loved the soundtrack :D
If I had one criticism, it would be with the level design. I find the levels to be a little too open and unchallenging, and it's very easy to get disoriented with the gravity flipping mechanics. I found myself just moving randomly and jumping until I found the exit a lot. I think something as simple as spikes to restrict where the player can go would both guide them and add some much needed challenge.
Also, I really like loved the level complete animation and the intro cutscene, but PLEASE add a skip button.
thank you :)
Thank you so much for the feedback! We were really struggling with level design since we couldn't find a way to make levels feel just right due to being able to run on pretty much any surface, and unfortunately we couldn't figure a way to fix the issues you mentioned before having to submit the game. We'll definitely keep what you said in mind if we come back to the project! I know other people suggested having level markers to help players know where to go, and I think mixing that with traps or spikes would be a cool way to add more depth to the game! Again, thank you so much for playing and for giving such detailed feedback! We're glad you enjoyed :D
Love the feel of the mechanics!! Super cool concept and the controls again are so fun!
Thank you so much! We're glad you enjoyed the controls - we worked hard on them :)
This is really cool :D
Thank you :D
very good game i played till level 3 cool idea and implementation gravity system works great and the art is beautiful
Thanks for the kind words! We worked hard to make the gravity shifting and player movement feel as good as possible :)
Amazing game, very fun mechanics, I would love to see this expanded with more levels in the future.
I think you should put like a par time so players can have a time to aspire to iykwim
We're so glad you enjoyed! And thanks for the suggestion hahaha I didn't even think of that but it's a great idea
WOAHH this is really cool, i especially love the visuals and the physics of the game! the unpredictability/concept are super cool :) overall awesome game!!
We're really glad you liked the game! Thanks for the kind words :D
I love this, this is a peak game to play in school (if I could, they block itch.io :(.
Thank you so much for the compliment! I'm glad you liked the game!
Absolute cinema. I like the controls and the soundtrack; maybe could benefit from telling the player somehow in what direction to go, as I felt lost at times. Otherwise good game.
Thank you for the kind words! We opted to not add any signs pointing in the right direction, since we wanted players to figure out the fastest routs on their own, but we ended up simply running out of time to make more props for levels. Otherwise, we would have added pipes and things to make it easier to tell where you were!
amazing
amazing
Thanks so much!
Really Nice to Control! So Cool!
Thanks so much!
whoa, dude, this is a cool game!! the theme interpreted in an interesting way. i really liked the smooth, pleasant controls, and I’d also like to specifically commend you for including coyote time - that’s something often overlooked in game jams. as for the downsides, it could use a bit more variety in the levels, but I hope you’ll work on that once the game jam is over!
Thank you so much for the kind words! EleventhAttic34 and I were worried about level variety, since we had to spend time on polishing other aspects of the game... we also didn't really know how to make levels for a mechanic like this hahah. We're glad you enjoyed :D
