I'll be honest: I didn't feel my influence on the result in this game. It felt like everything was decided by randomness.

Thank you, honest feedback is the most valuable thing, in my opinion. You might be right, it's a jam game after all, and even though I focused mostly on the game design side, since we're drawing random cards, all sorts of RNG comes into play, and I'm not sure how much I've been able to reduce that in such a short time. There are 16 cards in the game, and when you draw a new card, the chances of getting them aren't all equal to prevent RNG. I basically categorized the cards into 3 types, and the probability of each type appearing changes from time to time. For example, if you don't have a damage card, the probability of getting one increases. Or, if you have a draw card, the probability of getting another card of the same type decreases. I tried to make changes to the algorithm with these 3-5 chance probabilities, but I'm not sure if I've reduced the chance factor enough.
Wow! I probably played this game longer than any of the other games in here I've been able to rate so far. Very interesting! I got sucked in, really wanted to win, and the victory was sweet! I was a bit confused about what my clicks would do (sometimes they flipped cards, sometimes they used cards) and I got into a rhythm but didnt really figure it out. Cool game! veryyyy fun to play. I didn't even know I liked card games until now XD I'm surprised the enemy npc didn't flip any of my cards the whole time. Thanks for sharing!
I love card games. This one took me a while to figure out, but then it was a lot of fun, and having to balance my cards in hand with keeping enough points to flip enemy cards really had me thinking about every move, sometimes having to sacrifice my own health with some cards I had.
Very good game, and loved the interpretation of the theme.
Woah! Really fun card game.
Lots of polish here. I’m a little embarrased how long it took me to figure out how to play but, once I did, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks so much for sharing it.
Cool game, fun to play and well polishment too. I really like card game, so I enjoy your game very much. Love your game, good job
Really fun game! I played about 10 rounds then told myself I could play one more round before I had to move on to other games. The game then gave me a hand full of "Pay 1 point, draw x cards" and then I couldn't do anything because my hand was full so more cards couldn't be drawn. I then proceeded to play 5 more rounds.
This was so hype! The music sets a great tone right away. The popping of the initial deal is a little jarring but I like the sound design overall! So cute with the moving cards they're just begging to be interacted with. Very fun right off the bat. I didn't get the central mechanic at first. I lost my first attempt but got the hang of it through trial and error then got my win! Great implementation of the theme. I liked the flipping aspect once I got the hang of it. I still don't know what trash is (discards?) nor how the regen mechanic works but I love it all the same!
Ah, I forgot to explain those parts. I don't remember the exact numbers right now, but thanks to 'regen,' you passively gain both healing and draw points. It's not very effective since I struggled with the balancing part, but it's still there. And that Trash counter is actually left over from another mechanic I was thinking of adding as 'trash.' When I realized I wouldn't have time to finish it, I canceled it, but that counter stayed there. I'll update it later to remove that too. Thank you for your comment.
Reading the rules doesn't help much with figuring out what to do but after I played it a bit I could get into it. The music slaps hard. The visuals and the game feel was great too.
