This is a good first game jam submission. The game visually and with the sound manages to convey a lot with only a few elements. The music does abruptly end before restarting, which I found quite noticeable. I enjoyed what was there overall.

I quite liked it; although, personally, I’m not a fan of first-person mazes, this one was entertaining.
Sorry guys, if there were a "dislike" button, I’d have already used it because of that jumpscare at the end of the timer :D. That’s so outdated. It would’ve been much better if some terrifying thing just started chasing you—that would create a sense of mounting dread, rather than relying on a cheap, silly jumpscare.
Overall, for your first game, your team did a fantastic job! Creating a maze that feels truly frightening—both in its design and its visual appearance—is a real art. There’s also a subtle sense of unpredictability as the timer nears its end. The sound design is great; I especially loved the main theme—it’s absolutely the best!
What kind of fucking door is this that needs so many keys? :D
I find 2 key then try to escape. But nuh... another keys.
The game felt awesome to me—up until the jumpscare at the end. That was a letdown. So, overall, it’s just a good game, and you all did a fantastic job working together as a team!
Thanks for the honest review we appreciate all types of feedback
yeah your right the jumpscare was a last minute addition before it there was no way to lose the game so yeah ot was kinda rushed
But we plan on adding a real enemy in the future aswell as some small atmosphere improvements and maybe some new puzzles
Also you need 3 keys 🔑
I liked the music, one of the tracks reminded me of ravenholm from half life 2, the atmosphere was pretty spooky. I will be honest and say i do not like the idea of a pure maze game, its quite frustrating to have to essentially run around aimlessly looking for the third key, it essentially killed any tension/horror that could have been built up. I think this could be pretty good if you make the maze less complex or have better environment tells for where the player is
Really smooth movement and nice visuals! I made it on my second run. Simple but very well polished game :) Liked it a lot
I was really spooked out about the atmosphere; I think your team nailed the feeling of exploring a maze in fear! Would have definitely loved it even more if you added a stalker system chasing you around the maze after getting a certain amount of keys, and the jump-scare image was a bit scarier.
On my first run, I found 1 key and cant open the door, then I found 2 more, have to rush to the door but was too late, that moment gave me too much tension because of the timer and not knowing what is coming for me. However, I was a little disappointed that the jumpscare was just a weird image. I think it would be much scarier if an entity appeared and chased you through the maze, while still giving you a chance to escape through the door.
And in my 2nd gameplay, I only found 2 keys and already escaped? Idk if it was a bug or the game randomly requires 2-3 keys to open, either ways it should show in the UI how many keys the player need to open the door.
Overall, this is a scary and fun maze game. There are not much maze game but Im gonna say, yours definitely stands out the most
Thanks for the feedback bro we really appreciate it
the jumpscare thing was a last minute addition 😅 before there was no way to not win so we added the timer thing
And yeah we are planning on making it so a monster will appear in the maze and chase you without killing you instantly
And the key counter was a planned thing but we couldn't fit it in time
I'm really happy that you liked it despite it being a simple game, thank you
I wonder if there even are three keys, I could only find 2 and got lost on the way.
footstep sounds would've been a plus and also the "monster" is not really fitting with the environment.
cool flashlight movement, though.
It was cool, but after the jumpscare I won’t be able to play this anymore. I liked the music change — I figured it was tied to the timer, but I already thought some monster was about to appear. And also HOW MANY KEYS ARE THERE, I FOUND 2 AND THAT’S STILL NOT ENOUGH FOR THE DOOR??!!
