Description
I am using the game jam theme of a cooking game.

Accordion starts in 0:41 as main and complemental melody

Pots and Pans as support percussion in 0:41 as well.

Change of key is at 01:22. Changes from A minor to G minor.

Thematically is for a chaotic cooking party game, but since it is mentioned that it is for a mini game I wanted to contrast with a more soothing vibe while keeping it upbeat.

I am not pretty sure if it is a ragtime at 100%, but I feel that the vibe was captured pretty well. I am really happy with the result.

Also, it is a perfect Loop, I kept some of the repetition in the end with the fade out to portrait this.

It's definitely a nice, chill rock piece. I would expect this to come up in a mini game where the cooking is a challenge to feed a summer beach party or something like that.
Personally, I love to hear the bass guitar taking center stage in a piece, but it's a little against convention - someone putting this piece in their game would probably want the bass dialed down somewhat, to free up some more space for the guitars and other melody instruments or in-game sound fx.
Whether you hit the ragtime or not, I've been nodding my head in silence to your bassline the entire time I've been writing this comment. Very nice.

Sure it's not ragtime but it's got the Persona 5 vibe so it's a win! The key changes are smooth and natural, and not to mention the great bass and guitar playing. Did you play the drums live through an electric drum kit as well?

Absolutely love this!!

Excellent track! I really liked the way you used the harmonica — it fit perfectly into the arrangement. I loved the vibe and could keep playing for hours listening to this!

Your words bring warmth to my heart, thanks a lot!! I think the melody was really pretty too!! It was a combination of a harmonica and some strings behind to give a little more of sustain and articulation. When the keys come I decided to let them a little more behind and when the climax entered I decided to throw it all into the same melody.

I really appreciate your kind words and I am really really happy that you like it.

You hit the theme really well! This fits perfectly into a cooking minigame and you used the harmonica in a way I could never make it work. Would have loved if it was a bit more energetic and mischievous though... But overall a great track!

Thanks a lot for the compliments!! I was really happy with the result, and I really tried my best to make it video gamey and melodic. Maybe I could give it a more energetic vibe but oh well haha. Thanks again for your kind words and feedback.

I liked it immediately and by the time the harmonica is coming in I'm loving it!  Then the twinkly keys too, very video gamey in a good way.  Reminds me of like mario 64 for a bit, then the key change and I'm still grooving.   The bass starts to really stand out after that part and its so groovy.  Nice mixing to keep the guitar a bit quieter right there but still adding to the mix.  Then to bring it back up and have a studio fade out is also a nice touch.

Thanks for sharing this was well put together and I enjoyed it a ton!  I will say I'm not sure that it's Ragtime, nor would I say that I feel like I'm cooking while listening to this.  I totally would cook to it since its fire, but it feels more like I'm at a beach or a chill party.  Great tones.  Superb job.

Thanks a million!! Your feedback is really appreciated and all your comments about the song are true haha. Also it is very interesting what you mention about super mario 64. I grewed up with that game, one of my first one's actually. Some friends of mine and I listen to that soundtrack sometimes as normal music in reunions. I've never thinked about it before.

About the ragtime, yeah.. I have never played much less composed anything like that before, but I didn't wanted that to draw me back so I tried my best, I think is more like a swing but anyway haha.

Thanks again for the amazing feedback, it was a lot of fun.
