That was pretty cool, I like games like the Room series where you open boxes,

I definitely needed the guide, but part of that is that I tried to do something correct and it didn't work because I didn't click it correctly, like lighting the little candle which I knew I needed to do but couldn't get it to work. I think if you redo SFX, improve controls and hit detection it would improve the experience.

I appreciate sharing the walkthrough, the graphics were really nice.

Developer

And we appreciate you giving it a go! <3

This game definitely needs someone smarter than me because all I've achieved was nothing. From how it's presented It's a pretty interesting premise and the constant white noise in the background just adds to this... Unwelcoming presence for some reason. I really expected some fourth wall breaking scares or something.

Developer

Nah, the game came out a bit too difficult and confusing to play, so there's nothing wrong with your smarts! And thank you for taking the time and trying the game! <3

I really like this game! With a small help from the walkthrough I was able to get the good ending. I love the idea of searching for keywords in the books to discover what relic we're dealing with. The whole setting is pretty solid and I would love to see this project developed further!

Religious unboxing is such an unusual and intriguing premise, and it makes me want to find out what is hiding inside the box. Building a puzzle-driven horror game in Unreal Engine is ambitious, and including a walkthrough file shows real care for players. Congratulations on getting it submitted with the team! If you have a spare few minutes, I would love for you to try my entry, Last Sweep.

Oh it was ambitious, we got to experience it first hand :D Thank you for kind words and giving the game a try! <3

I feel like if I weren't rushed to play other games for rating purposes, I'd give this one a lot more time, but I looked up the walkthrough.

It's very reminiscent of old puzzle games with 3D-rendered backgrounds but still very much "retro" when it comes to gameplay and interactions. The game made me feel a certain sense of nostalgia I haven't felt in a while

It is confusing, but I wouldn't say it's unsolveable. Again, if I had more time to give this, I would. I like it a lot

Developer

Yeah, I feel you, but being rushed is the name of the game in such a short jam, so we had to rush a lot of things :D Thank you so much for taking the time and trying it out! <3

The premise sounded fun, but I swear to God I have no idea what to do, even with the walkthrough.

Developer

As an abbot in a monastery you're not supposed to swear to God! :D Jokes aside, thanks so much for giving it a try! <3

I really dig the medieval setting and atmosphere, but the game is really confusing to play

Developer

Yeah, it is a "bit" confusing, sorry :D Thanks for giving it a try!
