Full Stop - Slow psychological horror game, demo finished (full game in development)

Hey there! I'm a solo dev who's been working on a horror game recently, well actually the demo for one, it's about 90% finished, so real soon the link to play it will be available...

What it is (basically) : it's a slow, short first person horror game where the protagonist (named her Myra), unpacks some boxes in a new house she'd just moved into, it's more about slow dread rather than quick paced with jumpscares, and the horror is the environment and the slow erosion of trust which it causes. I wanted the player (you) to never quite have a sense of normalcy in the environment, and the main character would be completely detached from this type of slow horror, with dialogue which contradicts what's happening around her, so I thought that created a kind of dissonance between her perception and what's actually happening around her...

I just wanted to see if it landed or not to be honest, what parts I could improve, what parts you found most interesting, and things like that.

Thanks for checking it out. Here's my page on itch if you wanted a little more information on it: https://irfan06.itch.io/full-stop

:-D

Hi Irfan,

Reaching out from the development & talent acquisition team at ZEXOR Game Production.

We took a close look at "Full Stop"—the subtle environmental pacing and the psychological dissonance you've engineered natively in Godot 3D are genuinely impressive. Creating slow-burn psychological dread rather than relying on cheap jumpscares requires a refined sense of level design, lighting, and player immersion.

At ZEXOR, we are actively scaling our core technical and design pipelines for our upcoming stylized 3D title built natively in Godot 4. Developers who possess end-to-end solo development discipline and a deep understanding of Godot's 3D workflow stand out immediately to us.

We would love to connect and explore potential collaborative/production opportunities with you as we expand our squad.

If you are open to discussing upcoming initiatives or checking out our production roadmap:

Either way, fantastic execution on the demo—we will definitely be keeping an eye on the release of Full Stop!

I'll be working on the full game now, so a lot more content in that one, but thanks for stopping by and checking it out.

Hi there, posted my devlog on my page for you to see. It's mostly responding to feedback about the demo and what's going to be improved a lot in the full game.  So i'll be working on the full game now and giving updates weekly on my progress.

I apologise to myself! nah just joking, i was going to do a weekly update sort of thing but as you know... life  gets very busy and you can't really stop it. I'm also pretty young,

so from now on i'll probably be doing bigger, less frequent dev logs, thank you for your time.

My latest dev log is here: Updates, changes, and more changes. - Full Stop by Irfan06
