A bit difficult to understand at first, and the dialogue typing sound was pretty irritating, but the concept is pretty interesting once you figure it out!

Great endings and definitely made me feel like a mad scientist messing around with chemicals. Didn't get all endings I feel but was funny to see what happened on the different ghouls. I do think the text was a little slow, but the general 90's feel was there for me altogether.

am I now a certified necromancer? I killed my ghoul, when it wasn't even alive D; oops, got uninvited from party, but after like 10 tries I figured it out, I mashed some random buttons to skip the intro and it worked xD don't come for me

Verily, thee may now bear the humble title of 'Necromancer' and do such even without a PhD in Thanatology.

Anyways, I'm glad you liked it!

Hark! This is hilarious. Dialogues are really funny despite being a bit wordy. I am basically laughing at each of the endings till the end. I love the concept a lot and felt like it could be expanded more with more consequences and such. Anyway, well done!

Other things I like:

  • Music choice is great
  • Graphics look nice too

Suggestions:

  • It would be good to have a way to skip/fastforward the dialogues, as farming for the endings feels really tedious after a while. I know there's somehow a skip function somewhere, but it's not clearly indicated or instant so that would not be good enough
  • Some in-game description of what the mercury, acid, watchglass and the book do will be nice, saving the player from going back to the itch page for information, breaking the flow in the process

I'm really happy to hear your suggestions and that you had fun with our very first game!

Due to the time limit, we had to cut on some ends; but once the GameJam is over we'll go definitely back and polish it a bit more. :D

(Anyways, you may skip the intro with the Space key, but we've somehow messed that up and 'gave' it a delay; which has gone unnoticed on the final playtest)

it was very fun playing around with mercury and alcohol but i cant find ending one and six. very cool game

Thank you very much!

Ending I and VI are a bit difficult to find, due to them having only a single specific way. As a tip: Ending VI requires making the Ghoul too powerful and Ending I the 'correct' way to make a +1 Ghoul and avoid all other mistakes.

My associate and I definitely plan on updating the game once the jam is over, because we couldn't implement all planed features due to the time limit.
