Maybe there could be just a little more clarity, but the basic idea makes sense and the presentation is very nice. Also I like being able to let the years pass without worry, but perhaps I shouldn't. And I like that it's basically a sandbox puzzle.

Question: How do you get '90%' pressed etc.? The % has to do with... apples left of the variety at wassail time, versus the numbers /30 are the total amount harvested up to a point that isn't necessarily press time, or that it's the total number harvested in the year (but then they sold or rotted or something)? How do you press, or do you just provide the opportunity to do so by providing apples? And does it matter if your apple types are unbalanced, so long as you have enough of each type at wassail, or no?

Also, since you are not directly involved in selling, it's easy to let the 'fruit produced, fruit sold' tab kind of slip out of notice.

I think in the early stages I was slightly uncertain about how trees on the map were represented, but not really.

Thanks for playing this long and for such a careful read. The percentage is the press blend. At the turn of winter the press takes every cider apple in the barn and scores how evenly they split between sharp (Sharpwell), sweet (Meadsweet) and bittersweet (Bittermoor). An even three way split scores 100%, and 90% needs the smallest of the three to be about 28% of the pressing. The /30 figures are what each named variety cropped this year, counted at harvest, so apples that were sold or rotted afterwards still count. You never press by hand: once you own the press it runs by itself every winter, you only supply the cider apples. For the wassail only the three cider flavours need balancing; the other varieties just need 30 each in the same year. Fair point about the fruit sold tab slipping out of view, that one is noted.
