Hello everyone!

I'm currently looking for 2D artist(s) to join us on a 2D psychological horror visual novel project, a game called "The Only One Left"

We are already a small team of several people, including multiple artists, working together on the project. We're looking to expand the art team with people whose style could fit the game's atmosphere and visual direction.

Our current goal is to have the first episode released around this winter, so we're actively looking for motivated people who would like to contribute to the project as we move toward that milestone.

The game will focus heavily on atmosphere, psychological tension, disturbing situations and storytelling, with the visual style playing an important role in creating the right mood.

🎨 What I'm looking for

I'm mainly looking for someone comfortable with:

• 2D character art
• Character expressions and emotional poses
• Backgrounds / environments
• Horror and unsettling imagery
• Visuals suitable for a psychological horror atmosphere

You don't necessarily need to be experienced in every one of these areas. If your art style fits the project, feel free to reach out!

🎮 About the project

The goal is to create a story-driven psychological horror visual novel, rather than relying purely on jumpscares. We're particularly interested in creating a game where the art, writing and atmosphere work together to make the player feel increasingly uncomfortable and immersed in the story.

The project is already being developed by a team of several people, with multiple artists already involved, so you would not be joining an empty project or working entirely on your own. We already have a workflow and different people contributing to the development.

The first episode is currently targeted for this winter, although the exact release date will depend on the development process.
