oh no sorry that happened, I don't know why it happened... It worked for me. and speaking of errors, whilst playing a few Web games on itch.io I got similar errors to this.

Thank you for the feedback, I will try to fix this.

Meanwhile here is a quick checklist:

The issue is usually related to your browser configuration or extensions:

  • Check the Browser Console: Press F12 (or Ctrl + Shift + I / Cmd + Option + I) and click the Console tab. The exact error text underneath the red block will give you a clearer idea of what failed.
  • Disable Ad Blockers & Extensions: Privacy extensions (like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger) can aggressively block scripts or WebAssembly files required by Unity. Try disabling them or using an Incognito / Private window.
  • Clear Browser Cache: Corrupted temporary files can stall game loading. Clear your cache or hard-refresh the page (Ctrl + F5 or Cmd + Shift + R).
  • Switch Browsers: If you are using a specialized browser (like Brave or a Chromebook browser), try launching the game in a clean profile on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.

If anyone else gets this weird error, tell me.

Thank you, glad you like it!

I rated yours, could you rate mine too please?

Great game, seriously spooky! Some really tense and thrilling moments. Had my heart pounding when the lights flicked and something rustled nearby, and especially when the glowing red eyes entered a dark room! Easily 5 stars, and easily my favourite game in the competition so far!

Also, if you're able to, I would really appreciate if you could give my game a try and rating too!
It is my first indie game, set in a cyberpunk labyrinth world, and you have to collect all the glowing purple items (keys) then walk into a door to attempt to unlock it. You win when all the portals have been unlocked. And there is a timer. Instructions shown at the start of the game.

thank you!!

thank you I have done it now, using your layout but not your image (I wanted to try to make my own) though for some reason only in the the online editor it looks weird... the instructions screen is the wrong size...

I will definetely refine it more when I have the time, this was a bit rushed!

Really fun game, great idea for signs!

Also, I would appreciate it if you would be able to play my game too, Epic Escape.

Oh ok I just fixed the getting outside the level problem, I will make the web build for the game again and upload it now. Would it be better to display an Instructions screen when a specific key is pressed, Space key, etc.?

As for the smoothing, I will try to fix it. Also, perhaps a quick troubleshooting checklist would help you. It is to do with your browser. It worked for me (unless it is a problem with my game and not the browser settings). Here is the checklist:

Go to chrome://settings/system then toggle Use graphics acceleration when available.

If that didn't work, go to chrome://flags and search for Override software rendering list and enable it if Chrome is incorrectly blocking your GPU from accelerating 3D WebGL content.

Hope this helps, otherwise I will try to fix it from my game.

Also do you think my game works with the theme? It does a bit I think because of the timer "lockdown" because someone who isn't supposed to be here, an uninvited intruder has been detected, but still...

Thanks for the feedback! I will test out your game when I have the time!

I would really appreciate if someone could take the time to rate my game, it is a cyberpunk maze navigator game in which you have to unlock all the doors to win.

Yes, the controls are somewhat buggy. I would also suggest making the graphics similar to what the cover image shows (in the sky,  futuristic cyberpunk, etc.).

Also, incorporating the theme might help to increase your rank in the submissions feed.

It is quite fun and addicting, though!

Really nice game, though I think adding some background music would be good, and also, I can't really see incorporation of the theme in this game. Good effort overall though!

Hello, I submitted a game to the game jam before the deadline from the Submit button, itch.io said Submission in Gamedev.tv Halloween Jam 2026, but the visibility was still set to Restricted. After the deadline, today, I changed it to Public.  I thought that because itch.io had marked it as submitted Gamedev.tv might be able to see the submission and the timestamp of the submission (which is before the deadline even if it was Restricted then). Am I still eligible to the free course?

Thank you for your time,

CosmosWanderer98

Yes, I think it is, either your mode is set to Restricted for some reason or itch.io will just take a while to index your game.

Sorry, whilst filling in the submission page it was set to Restricted, I submitted then forgot to change it to Public. I have fixed it now. Hopefully it works now!

Also, thanks for letting me know :)
