I’m on mobile right now, but the gameplay is that you press Z to grab a couple of sheep, and then you press X to throw them up to prevent them from falling. Spinning around in circles is also important.

Hi, Luca! I have worked a little bit in Unity (though admittedly it has been a minute). As previously mentioned, I think it would be better if I took a more minor role in the development, since, again, I’m unsure about my schedule, but I would be very happy to help out!
I’d be happy to reach out over Discord. Check your friend/message requests for one from me.
I’m putting these questions for other people who might be reading this and might be able to spend more time than me:
Why did you choose Unity? On your post, it said your staff wasn’t composed of programmers yet, so I’m just curious if there was prior experience that is pushing you in that direction.
You said you were looking for two programmers. Why two? It’s certainly not an abnormal number, but I’m just wondering if you were already planning how to split up responsibilities.
Thanks so much for replying!
Hi! I don’t think that Legacy of the Path is currently the best fit for me. I know that I said I have experience in the Unreal Engine, but it’s not enough for me to feel comfortable working on the beginning stages of a UE game, when the decisions are very important. Also, I’m a little scared of the scope, hah.
I hope that you find someone who can help you out, though!
Hello! I'm Caden. I also tend to go by Creeper Host (as on here) and ThatCreeper (on GitHub). I'm based in U.S. Central Time.
I've been working on a couple of long-term projects for myself for a while, and I'm feeling a deep urge to contribute at least a little to someone else's project - one which would hopefully be finished at some point in time.
I am a programmer, and I like working in polish and UI. I've been programming for a very long time (~10 years almost? crazy), and I have experience working in most fields. I've done game development, web development, backend web development, app development, scripting, server management, and probably other things too.
In terms of game development, my public portfolio includes the main game UI programming for Entangled Love, a game I made alongside Weird Mage and which is, in my opinion. very polished (our team won $500 in the 48h jam we made it for and we were the only team who let the judges play it without help!). It also includes Hypha, (my best solo game) which was called good by Ninjamuffin99, and which won first place in the 2025 Summer Haxejam (i won discord nitro. it was great). Also, my Itch page is full of three hour games I've made for the Trijam. A couple of them won first place (Blocked, which I made with a friend, and Running Home, which I made alone)! I have a couple of projects that aren't jam games, but because of the lack of a deadline, they're all in various stages of development.
Hopefully that's enough pedigree. I don't know how much more I have.
In terms of me helping you, I'm familiar with most things relevant to making games. I've programmed in C++, C#, C, Haxe, Beef, Python, Lua, Ruby (a little bit, not much), Perl, Raku, Forth, Uxntal, Common Lisp, Emacs Lisp, Janet, D, GDScript, JavaScript, and the GameMaker language. I've probably worked in others that I'm forgetting too, and I'm choosing not to count declarative languages.
In terms of engines, I really enjoy working with custom engines (ergo, somewhere between raw platform libraries and Raylib). I'm also very familiar with Godot. I've used a little bit of Unity, GameMaker, and the Unreal Engine, and while it would take me a while to relearn how to use them all properly, I think I could get up to speed to helping with a project in a couple days.
If any of this seems interesting to you, please reach out. I'm in college and I'm not quite sure how busy I will be on my day-to-day, so I would be very okay with working for just credit.
I'd be happy to talk over Discord, but I would prefer to discuss projects over this forum, at least right now.
Thanks so much for reading this!
I will not work on projects that use generative AI in any tangible capacity.
EDIT: This post isn’t closed. I’m always interested in hearing about games people are working on.
Thanks for playing my game! I would urge you to not consider yourself dumb based on this game, I haven’t yet been able to find any sense in it.
On art & music, I actually had idea for both from the onset, but all of my time got eaten by the actual gameplay code, so by the time that I could actually think about any of that I only had around 15 minutes left. Oh, well.
The mood that this game sets is absolutely mesmerizing. Swimming in the first stage of the game is just so calm it's like sleeping. The mood of the second stage is, obviously, a lot less calm and it's a very fun recontextualization.
I kept flanking the squid for air bubbles (I already had enough air bubbles) and that was also very fun
