Sure, I'll try again then

Ok, I'm gonna be fully honest, this is more of a joke project than anything. That said, I still want the tutorial to be clearer for new players. Could you tell me which part of the RNA/DNA instructions was unclear to you? Or was the core gameplay itself unclear?

I can't really say the game is bad by any means. I actually like the idea of the game more than a lot of the other games in the jam, but I think the execution was a bit rough in some areas. Here are a few things I'd like to mention:

  1. The player feels a bit floaty.
  2. It wasn't obvious to me at first that the player is controlled with WASD instead of the arrow keys.
  3. The artwork seems a bit rushed.
  4. The timer feels a bit excessive and mostly just adds pressure. The collectible sequence already counts down by itself, so I think it fits the theme well enough without the timer.
  5. Wall jumping still uses normal gravity instead of sliding down the wall. I don't know if that's intentional, but it made wall jumps harder for me at first.

Overall, pretty good work. These are mostly personal opinions, so don't feel like you need to change them if they go against your vision for the game.

Also, the music is pretty ear-catching I must say

I'd say I pretty fine project. Maybe lower the difficulty curve a bit, but overall a pretty nice idea

Also, do add a tutorial. It's not easy to figure out that you can press space to create clones and r to restart

I may be misunderstanding the game, but I'm assuming the goal is to dial to the correct number before the timer runs out. However, it seems like I have to keep redoing numbers I've already unlocked.

Unless I'm missing a mechanic, I don't really understand how the gameplay develops from there.

Also, the Start button was quite difficult to notice due to its size. Making it larger might help new players.

I don't quite understand what I'm supposed to do.

I see a pitch-black room and what I'm assuming is a door, but I'm not sure how shooting and focusing are supposed to help. I couldn't find anything that seemed interactive or a way to make progress.

Unless that's intentional, I think the instructions could be a bit clearer.

Yes, I found out about that after I submitted the game. Idk why, but will fix it after the jam. It's supposed to reset and make you lose a life

Actually very cool game 👍. Absolutely loved it

Thanks 👍

Sorry, but my antivirus scan deleted your project as soon as I downloaded :(

Thanks 👍

I mean, the Audio was kind of machinary, Artwork was great and the gameplay was pretty enjoyable.

Not bad!

Idea was absoutely wonderful, but the controls felt kind of hard to control since it's a bit to fast and slippery, and also you can't press W to jump but have to press Space. Did have fun  these things around (I never got around the first one :( )

You just know it when it's a good game, and this is perfect :) . I would like an exit button though

You can move the camera with WASD keys :)
I updated the itch.io page to include that. Thank you so much for your support

Cool idea by you there. I love it, though I just kinda place the objects down until something works :)

Thanks for the idea. I had to rush at the end so I couldn't make it though

Pretty nice I guess

Lovely game :)
