Just adding more traction for this because a year is a long time to continue to be ignored, and I know I'm not alone in this. Your company's "support" is abysmal: /post/16570036

Just popping back in to say it's been 345 days since I first replied to this, and zero response from either yourself here or your support team on my ticket (Ticket #258759). That's nearly a year for a basic request that could and should have been answered multiple times over.
After a year of this, I'm under no illusions that you or your staff actually care to make what could be an amazing platform either user-friendly, viable alternative to places like Steam or GOG, whether for gamers or devs. Instead, you all seem content to rest on your laurels while neglecting the very people who put you on the map. If I ran my business like your team does, I would be bankrupt within a short time frame.
But I will not give another cent to you until your company come to the realization that Support, in a customer-facing business, is paramount and cannot be ignored. At this rate, that will be, "Never".
It’s been over a month and still waiting on any sort of response to that ticket I mentioned, and no acknowledgment of the issue, not attempt to assuage bad sentiment or attempt at customer service (here or there).
So, again, @leafo, this is why people aren’t happy with you and your company; It’s clear:
The only reason you care to make a statement is the en masse public backlash and financial reasons.
Otherwise, customer care issues don’t matter. You are quite literally leaving money on the table because of this crap;, because your competitors wipe the floor with you based on cusyomer service, ease of use and basic privacy rights. As someone who *wants* to like your conpany, who wants to support alternatives and indies?
That’s frustrating. But you don’t care, do you?
“If you have issues or concerns you can contact support …”
With all due respect, this is laughable advice at best. Your support team is non-existent and doesn’t respond to anything. I have at least one ticket that has gone MONTHS without so much as a “hello” as a response. I’m not alone, either; all it takes is a cursory Google or Reddit search to see this is a long-standing and recurring issue
I get it that you need to release a statement given the ****storm (censored for sensitive readers), but if you want to be taken seriously by customers, then you need to get your house in order. Starting with asking WTF is going on with your support department! And then FIX IT!
This is missing info. For instance, if a Linux version of the game is available, Itch.io will utterly *REFUSE* to provide a Windows version as an install option. This is important since, of all the Linux versions I have install, absolutely ZERO work on Steam Deck. Still looking for a work around because these instructions completely IGNORE the process of installing a game by glossing over that process to begin with.
This may be helpful for folks on Windows, but on Steam Deck this is a completely useless guide with no details offered for troubleshooting or issue resolution.
