Hi, and thank you! 😅
I wanted to add some upgrades, but I didn't have enough time. And yes... I know the sound is annoying. It was made in a rush.
I wanted my game to be a little bit bigger... At least to have an in-game story (text boxes, crew sprites, etc.). But, unfortunately, due to the lack of time, I ended up with half of all features I wanted. So after the jam, I want to finish it properly.
Again, thank you for playing and for the kind words. Also, congrats on your score!
Hi, and thank you! 😅
To be honest, I wasn't sure if I should keep the palette swap or not... And I wasn't sure if the story was good either. So, I'm really happy that you liked it! I'm also really glad you liked the ship design (off the record, I spent most of my time just working on that ship animation...).
In the end, thank you for playing and for the kind words!
Thanks for playing! 😅
I know it's not as creative with the main mechanic as it could have been... But I'm glad it turned out the way it did.
And to be honest... I was trying to make a mobile game. Everything was working... Except Buildozer (the thing I was using to make mobile builds)... So, with the help of Pygbag, I ended up making a web build instead.
Also... Thanks! The palette swap was a last-minute change to the game, and I wasn't even sure whether I should keep it or not. 😅
This is hard for me... I can hardly say anything bad about it, because I love these types of games. You've made beautiful graphics and an awesome soundtrack.
But the background was a little bit confusing to me... But that's only because of the jam limitations. So, your game is awesome. You've done a great job.
Each of us has THAT one friend who tempts us to do something silly. And who are we to disagree with our friends?
One evening, you and your friend find yourself in an old pub. After a few drinks, you make a really silly bet:
Keep small pub running for a whole week and don't go bankrupt.
Easy, isn't it? Well, let's see!
At Lost Times is supposed to be a small, cozy game. And what makes an atmosphere as cozy as possible?
You can change almost everything!
- Don't like the dialogues? Change them!
- Don't like the textures? Be next van Gogh, Picasso, or da Vinci !
- And what about the music? Buy new LPs (music slots) and create your own playlist!
Make the pub of your dreams and show everyone that you're the Best bartender!

Máte projekt s nádhernou grafikou a hezkou pointou příběhu.
Takže nevzdávejte to.
Thank you for the kind words 😄
The accuracy mostly depends on your microphone quality and how noisy your environment is. I tried to make it more adjustable through the config file, where you can change the tolerance settings. If I remember correctly, the default tolerance is around ±5 Hz (though I might be wrong 😅).
Faster typing is technically possible — it only needs around 200 ms to detect a frequency, but I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. I tried typing quickly myself and it was pretty painful.
And yeah... you’re right, it probably shouldn’t work, but somehow it does. I was mostly just bored, and when I’m bored I tend to build weird stuff like this.
The main inspiration was a video by Code Bullet where he recreated Guitar Hero using an actual guitar and used frequencies to control his mouse and type. That video basically made me think: “what other dumb but interesting thing could I build with frequencies?” 😄
If you want, here is that video.
Hi guys, Failte here.
I would like to introduce you to Missie.
Missie is a small chatbot inspired by old-school AI systems from the 60s. She isn’t particularly smart — and she doesn’t try to be. Instead, she tries to be something a bit different: a slightly awkward virtual friend who just talks with you, reacts to your messages, and sometimes plays a small game.
She can chat about a few topics, play Hangman with you, and remember some things about your conversations.
If you feel like trying something a little unusual, you can download her here:

I hope you enjoy meeting her.

Hi guys! Failte here.
I’ve made a small 3Dish arcade game called Ghosts' House.
You find yourself in a spooky old house, and your goal is to go deeper and deeper inside... But choose your steps carefully — you never know which doors are hiding ghosts.
It’s a score-based game, so… how far can you make it into the cursed house?

Hi futur_null, sorry for the late reply, and thank you so much for playing and for your kind words!
Yes, Sam is supposed to speak (via pyttsx3, which is a bit unreliable – I didn’t realize that before submitting the entry). That’s my fault, and I’m really sorry for the issue.
Sam is meant to have small talks with you, though sometimes they might break a little. The horror part of this game is “meta horror” – for example, Sam might comment on the current time or use your username…
You made a really nice game! The models look great, and the writing is well done. However, I noticed something that might be a bug: when I read the third newspaper or the marriage certificate, either the player character suddenly grew in size or the doors shrank—I’m not sure—which made it impossible to leave that wagon. Other than that, great work!
Old deck, weird guy, smooth jazz — and everything else you’d expect from a basic card game. All nice and clean... until that stupid programmer forgot to uncomment a safety function.
In other words: if you’re in the mood for some Blackjack, our friendly (but slightly weird) dealer will gladly take care of you.

Your game was fun! I really liked your art style. And if you’ve got a moment, and it won't bother you, I’d love to hear what you think about my game too: /jam/patch-notes/rate/3883367
In both cases, thank you
Hey!
I made a weird little project called MorseWave — it's a text editor that works via sound waves.
Using selected frequencies, you write in Morse code, which then gets translated into Latin letters.
It’s strange. It’s noisy. And it kinda works.
Check it out here:

Hi Yanovon,
I'm sorry for the late response, and thank you for playing my game!
I don't think you messed up at all; you have an interesting idea and a good prototype. If you give it more time after the jam, I believe it will become a great game.
Again, thank you for playing, and I wish you the best of luck!
Hi, I'm so sorry for responding so late...
In this game, you're trying to tell a story so good that the bartender will give you some money (by scoring higher than 100).
And if it helps, the score is calculated based on how many words are in the story, how many unique words there are, and the number of keywords used.
