Actually, I wanted to add a couple more levels between the three that are currently in the game. But time was running short, so the story did end up feeling a bit rushed.
That’s why I chose to focus on polishing the three levels I already had. If the game proves popular enough, I’m thinking of making a remake with a more cohesive, well-paced narrative—but we’ll see.

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Actually, what you found isn’t a bug—it’s a feature, as they say :)
When I was testing the game, I didn’t want to wait a long time for the wheel to open the passage, but I couldn’t skip it entirely either, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to test how things behave while the wheel is turning. So, I intentionally added this feature.

I’m glad you enjoyed the game; your words mean a lot to me. Thank you!

the whole game design (every mechanic, level and balance number), the architecture and the tech stack, the direction and review of every model, sound, text and screen, and the playtesting and tuning

nothing is bought: the bases are free CC0 packs, the jam's own packs and free sound libraries, all named in the list
I kept that list long on purpose so nobody has to guess

by the way, yours is the first comment I’ve received on itch
I’m extremely grateful that you took an interest in my game

Yes, it’s definitely become smoother.

Thanks a lot for the optimization and for paying attention to feedback—I think this will have a positive impact on the game’s rating.

Many thanks to the developers—they’ve significantly improved performance, and the game is now much more comfortable to play!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I’ll try to figure out what to do about this in future bug fixes.

Happy Halloween! 🎃

Yeah :)
Especially considering that for the first 4 days of the jam, I was working on something set in the world of the movie *Tron*, involving hacking—but then I completely changed the concept and switched to a Halloween theme instead) I think only the movement and shooting mechanics carried over :)
Thank you!

Glad you liked it

Thank you!

Hi! I am sorry: at first I did not understand that this is a VR game, and my first review was not fair.

Now I played it in VR and recorded my play 🎃

The atmosphere is top! A night street, kids who are too old for trick-or-treat, and big wrestler enemies who walk to your house. I like the funny weapons, and I even found a secret! This is a VR game made by 4 people in 10 days, so it is a lot of work. I recommend it to people with a headset! Good luck!

Thank you!
I’m genuinely glad you enjoyed it.
Making this game was definitely a challenge for me 😅

🎃 Have a happy Halloween! 🎃

Hi! I played FarmBot Manager and recorded my play 🎃

What a cool idea: a computer inside a computer! The old Windows look is very funny, and I like the details: the boot screen, Internet Explorer, the bots that chop trees and the shops where you buy parts. I also like the music and the small click sound of the buttons. It is easy to sit and watch the numbers grow. For a 10-day jam this is a lot of work!

Small notes: The window that shows a bot did not want to close, and it was not clear why. Also, the mouse wheel did not scroll the list until I clicked on it.

The game is almost perfect, and these are only small rough edges. I recommend it, especially to people who like idle games! Good luck!

Thank you for this game! 🎃

Thank you so much for playing the game and for such high praise!

I really did pour a lot of time into it—working on it during weekends and in my spare time after work.

Initially, the concept was a "cyber world" centered around hacking into a computer system—something like a cross between the old and new *TRON* films. I spent about four days building that version, but it ended up being scrapped, and the entire setting was completely reimagined :)

Thanks again for your kind words, and have a fun Halloween! 🎃

Hi! I played Grimoire of Steel and recorded the whole play 🎃 I really like the graphics: the dark town, the witch outfit and the hat look great. The music and the sounds are good too, even the button sounds in the menu. The story is interesting, and some dialogues made me laugh (the girl in pajamas who called a demon because she was bored 😄). For a 10-day jam this is a lot of work!

Honest feedback: after some time I didn't know where to go. UI says a monster is near, but often there was nobody, and I walked around for a long time looking for the last monsters. The game is very dark, even with my screen at max brightness. Some small things: Esc took me out of the game (twice!), part of the dialogue text goes out of the box, and key 2 gave me a sword, but the icon shows an axe.

One tip: a clear goal or a marker to the next monster would help a lot. I wish you to finish it the way you want, there is a good game here! Good luck!

Ahhh! Got it.

That’s why I should make a habit of reading the description!

I have a VR headset. If I can, I’ll give it another try.

Thank you!

Thanks for the game! :)

I think I caught a couple of those moments where you put on the wrong costume and they start chasing you—though maybe that didn't make it into the final cut :)

Actually, I didn't see any controls there; and even after the video, I still couldn't figure out how—once you press 'E' and read the description—you’re supposed to know where the Intruder is.

But in any case, thanks for the game; I enjoyed it a bit—especially the music and the spinning effect.

Hi! I played Intruder and recorded it 🎃 Honestly, at first I didn't know how to start it. There were no instructions, only some .dll files and one file I couldn't open. Google told me to install a special program for 2D games, and then it worked!

You can walk around the house, and the turning effect is really cool. The music is nice, I like it. But I didn't understand how to find the intruder. I guessed by the colors of the rooms: the TV room was wrong, then I picked the office and found it! 😄 I didn't hear sound effects, and I didn't feel a real mechanic, only walking and turning.

Tips: a short "how to run" note on the game page and a short "how to play" at the start would help a lot. How do I find clues? I think this can grow into something good. You tried, and you made a game in a jam, that's great! Good luck!

Thank you for your game! 🎃

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to perform any actions in the game. It looks promising overall, but neither mouse clicks nor keyboard keys produced any response. Sadly, I couldn't play it.

Guys, this is a really good game! 🎃

But first, honestly: at the start I didn't understand how to play. I tried every key, I thought changing clothes was broken, and I almost gave up. Then I got it:
1) The Tab key closes the clothing menu — it was quite hard to figure this out, since I rarely read the description on a game's page.
2) The icon over their heads shows when they see you, and the right clothes make you one of them.
3) A large stripe at the top — for when you’re exposed as an uninvited.
After that the game was great!

I love the idea. It's the reverse story: usually the monster is uninvited, and here it's us, a human in vampire clothes at a monster party. How can they not see me? 😄 The atmosphere is super, the music and the sounds are very good, the art fits the theme (the pumpkins!). I had a lot of fun. For me it's the best game I played in this jam, 5 out of 5, or 10 out of 10 😄

One tip: a short "how to play" at the start (how to change clothes, what the icon means) would help a lot. Without patience I could miss this great game.

Fun idea: a witch's party on a grave, and you find the uninvited guests by their clothes. The music is cool, and some costumes made me laugh (the road cone hat!) 🎃

Honest feedback: for me it was too hard. The timer is very short for so many guests, and the game froze often in my browser. More time on the first levels and better performance would make it much more fun.

Good luck with the jam!

upd: Many thanks to the developers—they’ve significantly improved performance, and the game is now much more comfortable to play!

A very interesting mechanic!
It was even a bit nerve-wracking, since you have to keep track of what was where and which tiles\area to avoid clicking

I would have liked to hear a slight click when pressing a tile, but overall, I had a great impression

Thanks for creating such an interesting game!

🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃

Thank you very much for truly appreciating my game and for such a detailed review!

Yes, there are things that could have been improved, but I think it turned out well)

I just implemented auto-attack for mobile (it was already available but hidden in the settings and not enabled by default). I also added a few more hints regarding auto-attack and how to get ammo (the gun only reloads when you kill monsters).
Thanks again for such valuable feedback!

Thank you very much.
I put a lot of effort into it!
I'm really glad you noticed!

🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃

Personally, I never play or watch horror games - lucky me that my very first game jam turned out to be Halloween-themed 🎃

Playing this, I was genuinely terrified — my horror tolerance is practically zero. That monster spawn sound sent literal chills down my spine. At multiple points, I legitimately doubted my pants would survive the playthrough.

And seeing those bodies the moment you open a door?! That immediately taught me to slam the door shut and bolt for another one without waiting around for the monster or a jumpscare. The atmosphere pulled me right in.

The pumpkins gave me a little bit of comfort at first. They were clearly supposed to signal a safe corridor, right? NOPE. One pumpkin was sitting right in the room with the monster... After that, I don't trust pumpkins and I will NEVER trust a pumpkin again in my life 🎃

Loved the atmosphere overall! Didn’t actually have to change my pants, but man, it was a close call.

Thank you very much for such detailed feedback. Yes, there are a few ambiguous points in the game that might be confusing. I’ll fix a couple of things right away: I’ll enable auto-attack as default for the mobile version and increase the movement speed.

Thanks again for the detailed review; I’m glad you found things you liked in the game.

A really great story!
I recommend it to everyone

I really liked the unique design, and the music is very atmospheric, too. Having to repeat actions after failing gets a bit tedious, but it’s not a major issue. And the ending is absolutely brilliant—it was 1,000% worth playing through!

Thanks a lot for the game.

🎃Happy Halloween) 🎃

I gave it a try. The concept seems interesting. It would be interesting to see how it turned out in the end.
