Thanks chicken! I appreciate your dedication to reviewing everyone's game :)

Thanks G.O.A.T.

Incredible reaction image. I loved your game!

This game has truly incredible art that you don't see in video games very often! The loop is fairly straightforward but I really enjoyed getting to mess around with different strategies for using the shell. I tried changing the difficulty and found the enormous one you get in easy mode hilarious lol

I loved this idea I think the camera and player controller are a bit glitchy at the moment to get consistent at it but I could totally see this being a fun Mario Party game or something!

Really fantastic animations and I always love a good parry mechanic! I was super impressed you guys were able to get in a whole boss fight! The one thing I wish is there were more numerous and weaker enemies to beat up.

Was totally not expecting the 3D twist that got me! Great job on the horror atmosphere it had me on edge.

This game has such a unique vibe to it I can't put into words exactly. It has the stock images of course over this sort of chill yet nostalgic guitar and then the ways the game phrases things like when you decide to not go into the shop or not fish it describes you looking out over the sea which contrasts with the otherwise goofiness of the characters in an awesome way. Overall loved the vibe despite the grindy loop I found myself playing it more than a lot of other entries!

Thanks so much for the kind words :)

Perhaps total, but I meant specifically each shell can maybe only hold like 1-3 shell dusts and each individual dust is stronger. I think that way you can make an informed choice like "do I want a 3/3 fire or 2/3 fire 1 water for X reason instead of just sort of throwing it all in there which is what I felt like I was doing. It was satisfying to pour them though!

This game reminds me of a UFO 50 style game like Star Wasp! The music was one of the highlights for me and I appreciate the continue as someone who doesn't play a lot of SHMUPS lol

Thanks for playing I'm glad you had a good experience! :D

LOL I haven't seen that one before thanks for letting me know about it! I'm glad you had a good experience overall :)

I love this mechanic and the aesthetic reminds me of the era of flash I grew up on! I do wish there was a much lower limit on what you can put inside a shell so you have to diversify more. I really liked how the cloud was more for movement and others like fire were good for damage. It reminds me a bit of a game called "Fishards" which is a wizard game where you are fish and cast elemental spells by mixing them together.

THANK YOU!

Wow this one is hard! I wasn't able to get very far, but the visuals are have an excellent vibe. It reminds me of an unforgiving arcade game, but with more modern pixel art sensibilities!

The audio of this game was the highlight for me really well done! I got a bit confused about how to purchase stuff with scrap, but the idea of inhabiting different shells as a slime was a really unique use of the theme!

DUUUDE I gotta add a controller vibration that's great suggestion.

Checking out now! Thanks for playing!

If you need a nudge I'm happy to oblige it can be pretty tricky!

Glad you enjoyed sliming! Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing! I'm a fan of goo

Thank you for playing!

Thank you for the review and feedback you totally got the inspiration! It was only after I began working on the game that I discovered it was UC Santa Cruz mascot LOL what an awesome coincidence.

Absolute banger of a Hotline Miami inspired game with a hilarious theme to boot. Amazing juice in this one too, I'm a sucker for a game super juicy primary action like this one. One thing you can add to that is hit stop where the game pauses the time scale for a super short amount of time.

Genuinely one of the most innovative games I've seen the whole jam and the art is incredible!

Legendary commentary on the economy. Wow there are like 4 whole games in here! I can tell a ton of love went into this great job!

Yep this is a softlock I didn't catch before the final version  Thank you so much for playing and posting the screenshot!

The movement tech was HEAT I really liked the shell physics. The start and end screen cracked me up LOL

Dude this game aesthetic ROCKS I could really see a full release that looks like this! I would have liked some tooltips but that's really my only qualm. It is a bit easy, but I think for a jam game tuning it that way was the right call.

Final Score: 5695
Love the shells as ammo concept and design wise the three ammo types pair perfectly with the three enemy types. Super clever! Seems inspired by Enter the Gungeon and Vampire Survivors.

Awesome! I'll subscribe on YouTube!

The best score I got was 15! Not sure if it is my browser or something but I get spawn killed most rounds I start. I think the drift on the crab is a bit high which makes it frustrating to control, but I like the vision. Great song!

Not going to lie this game rage baited me lol totally reminds me of "impossible game" which is a classic. I do think the hitbox of the egg not being aligned with the sprite threw me off the most. The primary character art is awesome!

Final Score: 1650!
This game was a bit frustrating initially but after getting used to the controls I felt like I was getting the hang of it. The simple design choice of preventing you from constantly shooting and only being able to shoot in the direction you look actually made the push and pull of the loop really nail biting. Also the sound made me chuckle great work!

Fantastic art! The animations and the sea creatures all looked super cohesive. Visually I do wish that the doors were a bit more obvious when they were closed / open as well as when enemies were going to attack. The music was great but didn't seem to super fit the action-y vibe. This game is tough! Overall great job super cute use of the theme!

It felt reminiscent of a tycoon style game so it had some nostalgia for me!  It doesn't have a ton in the way of the other disciplines, but the most important thing for a game is for it to feel right to interact with and I felt like it controlled pretty well.

Thanks :D
