Thank you for letting the admins know.

Would it be possible to give me at least a rough estimate of how much longer the review might take?

The game has already been waiting for more than a month, and external traffic is still coming to the itch.io page every day while the project remains completely unindexed. It is honestly very discouraging to keep sending people to the page knowing that the game still has no visibility through itch.io itself.

I understand that you probably cannot give an exact date, but even an approximate timeframe would help a lot. At the moment, not knowing whether this will take a few more days or several more weeks is really frustrating.

Thank you again for passing the ticket along.

Hi,

I’m posting here because I would really appreciate some help getting the attention of the itch.io staff regarding my support ticket #394864.

My game was published more than a month ago, and it is still not indexed in Search or Browse.

I have read the official documentation about indexing and manual review, including the part explaining that some new sellers may need to wait for a moderator review and that this is generally completed within a few business days.

However, in my case, it has already been over a month.

During this time, I have continued promoting the game entirely on my own outside of itch.io, and it has now received 250+ downloads from external traffic. Despite that, the game still has no visibility through itch.io itself.

This has become really discouraging and honestly quite upsetting. I’ve put a lot of effort into bringing people to the project myself, and after more than a month it still hasn’t even had the opportunity to receive organic visibility from Search, Browse, tags, or other discovery features on itch.io.

I completely understand that moderation queues can take time, but waiting more than a month when the documentation says “a few business days” makes me worried that the game or my ticket may have been overlooked.

If possible, could a moderator please let the admins know about ticket #394864 or check whether my game is still waiting for manual review?

I would really appreciate any help with this.

Thank you.

Whatsup man? Do you wanna talk about it?

Hi!

I've read the documentation about getting indexed: /docs/creators/getting-indexed

My game was published more than a month ago, but it still doesn't appear in Search or Browse.

I understand that new sellers and some projects may need to go through manual review, and that this normally takes a few business days. However, it has now been over a month.

During this time, I've brought traffic to the game entirely from outside itch.io myself, and it has received more than 230 downloads. All of that activity came from my own promotion rather than discovery through itch.io.

I have to admit that this situation is very discouraging and upsetting. I've put a lot of effort into promoting the project and proving that there is genuine interest in it, but after more than a month the game still has no opportunity to receive any organic discovery from itch.io itself.

I completely understand that moderation and review can take time, and I'm not expecting any special treatment. But considering that the documentation mentions a few business days, waiting for more than a month without knowing whether something is wrong with the page is quite frustrating.

As far as I can tell, the page follows the indexing requirements, so I'm worried that it may have been overlooked in the review queue or that there is some issue I'm unaware of.

Could someone please advise what I should do at this point? Is there anything else required from me for the page to be indexed?

Thank you!

I wouldn't rely on that, you can be with no answer for months

I have the same issue, up to which time it can take to be indexed? Why so much delay...
