Hey thank you for the honest feedback, this is really useful.

We would loved to have more time to create more interesting levels. We hade some cool(haha) ideas and we are sad that they didn’t make it into the game.

We had many cool level ideas but we just had time to put together a few simple things at the end, we are pretty sad about that. The use your head level became a real problem too. At least it is the last one so you are just missing the (really cute) end credits screen.

Thank you for the honest feedback, this helps a lot. We’ll definitely focus on these things in the next jam.

Glad I got to rate this gem just before the voting countdown ended.

I won in my first run by creating and infinite combo with a “tick: back time” and two “tick: add durability” cards. So satisfying to see the clock ticking without fully grasping why. I would definitely play this if you turn it into a full game (this is a great fit for mobile!).

Congrats on your submission :)

I’ll turn 30 in 4 months and I’m also lost in life, this is good stuff :’)

I would love more content and have more time to wander around and regret all my moves.

Nice game! Nothing bad to say about it.

I would love to get your feedback on our game too! :)

Thank you for this game :)

This is in the top 3 games I’ve tried this jam, one I’ll probably come back to. Nice art, sound, and specially gameplay.

Interesting deduction and optimization puzzle. I would need to play more to be able to give feedback on the game mechanics.

One thing that would improve quality of life is letting players go to the next station with the map open. The back and forth opening and closing the map at every station is a bit annoying.

Congrats on your submission! I would love to have some feedback from you on our game :)

This game made me feel like I was on Japan again. 10/10 would get lost again.

I wish I could play this on web, the download does not work for my mac :(

Sad that you suffered technical issues. You worked and learned and that is what matters! Hope to see you in the next GMTK :)

Nah, you’re right, it is TINY. One of those small things we would have improved if we had a little more time. Thanks for the feedback!

I’m glad you enjoyed the game :) And yes, we finally managed to cool down the reactor and escape the basement

Hey, thanks for the honest feedback :) If we continue development we definitely need to find new uses of the main mechanic to make it more interesting.

Hey, thanks for playing :D BTW your game is dope!

Hey, thanks for playing our game :)

The use your head level is the last one, so at least you only missed the credits screen! We should have tweaked the difficulty of it a bit but we ran out of time.

Hey, thanks for the effort!

I was able to test it and really liked it. I was a heavy player of magic survival at its time, and this remembers me of it.

I like the minimalism of only having one thing to upgrade, it works well.

I stopped at lvl 17/layer 8 because I barely had any enemies at the screen, I think the power of the character escalated faster than the game difficulty.

I loved that everithing is code-generated. Who needs assets :D

No problem :) I’m newbie game dev but I focus a lot on user experience in my other projects. So I thought my perspective could be of help here. Your game has a lot of potential, I hope you continue working on it!

Hey, amazing game. Concept wise, probably the best I’ve played this jam. Here is some unasked feedback:

  • I love a puzzle game where you can’t just do random stuff until the puzzle is solved by accident. You did a GREAT job on this. Nice level design. The following feedback is just nitpicking to try to help you make it better :)
  • The platforming in general and jumping in particular feels odd and unresponsive. I understand this was pushed back in favor of dedicating time to the puzzles, that’s perfectly fine. In fact our game suffers from the same issue.
  • Because of that, the “speed platforming” parts felt unnecessarily frustrating.
  • Also because of that, needing to jump to hit the hourglasses make the experience less fun, specially because of the fact that the character bounces on them.
  • An extra second on many timers would have helped the fun. I don’t need a puzzle game to require sub-second precision.
  • I don’t quite understand when a timer will freeze, unfreeze or activate something. There is visual clues or do I need to try?

I played until I reached this in the last level image.png

Needing to restart the whole level to retry this was too much for me. Is it good to punish mistakes as it makes the player more engaged. But too much, and players won’t bother redoing the same thing again and again.

I see this becoming a great complete game. Congratulations on your work!

Also, I would love to have your feedback in our game :3

Smooth playing game. With more content could be an awesome mobile game.

Love the control scheme. You avoided a problem that a lot of other games of this jam share: They have a tight countdown, but the control is wonky and not optimized to play fast. This one is. Good job!

I would love to have your feedback on our game too :D

Nice take on the genre!

Thanks for playing :D

Hahaha glad you liked it! Thanks for playing :)

Would love to be able to play this on web, since I’m on a mac :(

Thanks for playing our game!

I love good practices here, specially the level select feature!

I had a hard time understanding some of the tasks and completed it without realizing what was going on, the time pressure did not help.

Otherwise, fun idea and nice execution. Also, thanks for playing our game :)

Spoiler alert: That is the last level, so you almost did it :P

Thanks for playing our game, we really liked yours to!

Ohh sad to hear that, we should have kept that ice cubes on check!

I’m glad you enjoyed it anyway, thanks for playing :)

That was me! My voice! But your praise is all the award I need :D

Glad you enjoyed the game, that is a great motivation to keep “making stuff”.

Glad you enjoyed it :) Thank you for playing!

Spoiler alert: It is the last level! So you almost made it to the credits screen :)

Nice game, with quite a Spanish theme :P This is a 5/5 enjoyment for me.

I was really enjoying the fight against the judge, knowing he has the “Sentence” card applies constant pressure.

I had lethal and played my last two cards in quick succession to beat it, but only the first one applied, the second one was lost (and also the mana). I did not bother to heal since that was going to be the last turn… and the judge used sentence and killed me lol

I will probably play again later. Pasaos por nuestro juego! :D

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :D

I did it!

Feels good and well balanced. Nice job!

Also, thanks for rating our game :D

WHAAAAAAAAAAHW WHAAAAAAAAAAHW WHAAAAAAAAAAAHW

Thanks for playing! :D

WOOO I DID IT!

Nice idea and interesting level design. An actual fun game!

I would fix the hitboxes of some platforms (I got stuck sometimes against something invisible) and maybe make the sun hitbox a little more permisive.

Thanks for also playing our game!

10/10 will avoid natural light again

As a mediocre chess player who loves it, I really enjoyed this. Being able to mess around with the opponent was a blast hahaha

I would loved to be a bit more pressed by the difficulty, but of course this is perfectly fine for a jam proof of concept.

Also nice work for the sound, theme and aesthetics! And thanks for rating our game :)

10/10 would checkmate satan again

Thank you for playing and leaving feedback, glad you enjoyed the game!

We wanted to give a bit more love to movement, but didn’t have enough time. Also, I entered the jam really wanting to make some good music for it, but prioritized the sound effects and run out of time >.<

Glad you liked the sound effects, I’m fond of those haha!

Thanks for the feedback, we definitely need to make the movement more responsive.

Today I played your game again and managed to get all 5 secrets. Addictive!
