You can just make a PDF, and then if your game wins we will be asking for proof, and you can provide that PDF.

Yes, the color of UI is included in the 3 colors

By default game engine color you mean the area of placing map/ tilesets then yes it counts.  In godot and other engine the default color is changeable. And if you are referring to like the game engine startup/ load in such as in godot it shows godot logo on startup then no, the color of it doesn't count.

We’re excited to announce Pixel Forge Jam #3! Whether you're a seasoned indie dev or just getting started, come join us for a week of game development, experimentation, and fun.

The Challenge:

Make a game using EXACTLY 3 COLORS (no more, no less). Gradients and default engine background colors count toward your 3 colors, so plan carefully! The main theme will be revealed right when the jam begins.

Key Info:

• Duration: September 5th, 2026 (3:00 PM) – September 12th, 2026 (3:00 PM)
• Team Size: Solo or teams of up to 4 people
• Engine: Any engine is allowed
• Format: Web/Browser-playable is recommended, but Windows/Mac builds are welcome
• Rules: No AI-generated content, no pre-made work (unless credited properly), and no NSFW/offensive material.

Prizes ($5,000+ Total Pool):

• 1st Place: Spine Pro licenses, WeLoveIndies vouchers, Hawkeye commercial licenses, Oppalin lifetime license, CraftPix subscriptions, GameDev.tv courses, and Assethoard licenses.
• Top 5 & Judges' Favorites: Additional prize packages including PicoCAD keys, software licenses, vouchers, and custom Discord roles/certificates.
• All Participants: Free 6-month Hawkeye commercial license and a participant certificate!
