Seems like a cool concept, just needs time and polish! I like where it's headed so keep at it!

I'm kinda obsessed with Wanda, her design is awesome!! The story is fun and relatable, and I really enjoyed the peek into goblin life. Cool time system, although I feel the UI could've been a bit more cohesive across the board, and I never exactly felt like I was running out of time. Still, super neat, impressive what you managed to pull off in a month!!
Really cool premise, really unsettling soundtrack, really neat CGs!! I got four different endings, and really liked the one with the heart-through-the-chest cg, that was cool. I would love some sort of unlockable or achievement page somewhere, to see those cool shots again, and while the level of branching is impressive, it was a bit frustrating to feel like I was randomly picking with that last choice. Maybe mentioning the names prior to that choice would make it feel a bit less shot-in-the-dark by time the player gets there. Also, in general, the UI was clunky, would be great to see it cleaned up- I love a fuzzy edge textbox, but having it hard cut is just a bit unpolished. That said, still very impressive- 11 endings is no joke!!
Interesting concept, I really like the deskpet-gone-rogue idea! I think your UI got in the way of being more immersive, I had a hard time telling exactly when the player was speaking vs the chatbot, and I'd love the click-failure section to be more tied to player action- like, make us actually hit the close button a bunch- but the sprite reveal afterwards is really cool and did make me jump! I think with a bit more polish, this would be super cool. Impressed that you got the sprite animated in a month, it was cute! (except when it wasn't)(again, that was a great moment)
Incredibly unsettling!! Super unnerving! What a great game!!!! Every detail felt well planned, from the sounds getting louder to the UI design, and every image was gorgeous to look at, even as they all filled me with dread. The story had me reaching for a blanket, it was so chilling. Amazing job, all.

Super interesting game! The art was gorgeous, and I was very impressed by the VA. Even the GUI felt well-thought out and planned. The little detail of the subway lines under the names was really cool. The fourth-wall breaks took me a little too much out of the story- a lot of commentary on life and art and big meanings, and I kinda wanted more out of the Mother, Maiden, and Crone, less out of the narrator. Still incredibly cool, can't believe that was all put together in a month!

1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?
Hi, I'm Pepper, I use he/him pronouns, and I'm mostly a baker, trying to be a writer, dabbling in game dev.
2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?
No, I've never participated in any game jam ever because I've never made a game! But I plan to participate in nanoreno, and figured a smaller project would be good before that larger project, before an even larger project.
3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?
Disco Elysium absolutely inspired me trying my hand at game dev, but Skyrim is my favorite game of all time. (Ask me about my Skyrim tattoo!)
4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?
Nope, but I've been doing a bunch of research, and I'll be making this in Ren'py.
5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!
This! But, legit, my degree/career are in the world of sugar and spice. If you don't know why your cookies came out wrong, or why your cake is crooked, I probably do.
6. What are your goals for this game jam?
Finish making a short game, meet people in this community, and really kickstart this new hobby!
