Xilurus's unreleased game

Joyful Lee? the developer from the hit game riftella??

Joyful Lee?? the developer of the hit game Frootshoot?

This is so frikin fun, the concept is so well thought out and so fun to play [would love to draw for this]

This is the kind of game where you go like "how did i not think of this earlier" cuz i can tell you this was such a creative concept and executed so well with the art and music! very very fun to play, and also very impressive for your first puzzle game ever!

That's a pretty cool concept! I love the artwork and audio, although i wish the level designs are more clever and maybe include 1 more mechanic, because after a few level it gets a bit repetetive. I still enjoyed the game tho :D

I'm glad you liked the art :D ^^ [coming from the background artist] cozy visual novel Among Us was lowkey what we were going for while developing the game lmao

Hai Xil :D
Thanks for playing our game [as promised >:] ], im glad you liked our art and music [speaking as the background artist] Yeah so the inital scope that we were aiming for the game was definitely too big to execute and debug within 4 day, so there were a few areas that were unfinished and therefore inaccessible, and also a few bugs here and there. I couldn't have imagined the amount of work the programmers have to finish with such a short deadline. Again thank you very much for playing our game ^^

lmao haiii!!!

Such a simple but fun and creative concept executed so well, and in the span of 4 days? this feels like a fully fledged web game. What else can i say other than congrats on creating one of the best game in this event

Awesome, awesome game, awesome movement, awesome mechanics, awesome visuals and audio, this game absolutely deserves 5* in everything [maybe not narrative]. the only thing i would recommend is having the camera follow you instead of moving camera to show each room separately, this way you can really feel the speed and also see what's up ahead when diving

Scratch is insane bro

This is such a clever concept and such a polished execution! As a math lover i absolutely love this, this would be a sick game to play with the whole class in math class and im not even exagerating. 5* for creativity and enjoyment, others are 4*, Great game!

Oh hi peanut
Thank you so much for liking the background art coming from the main background artist ^^ there are 2 backgrounds that were made by the other 2 lovely artists since i couldn't manage my time effectively enough. I couldn't have imagined the work our devs put in to even make the game work and try to patch every bug they found within only 4 days [as im sure you can relate] Thank you very much again from your feedback :D

This is a game i would expect to have been made over a couple of weeks, the artwork, audio, gameplay, and concept are all amazing. This is phenomenal and a very fun experience [was a bit hard at first but got used to the gamepla]

Thank you for your feedback! As the background artist I am beyond thankful that you found our game's ambience very atmospheric with the combination of the sountracks. Personally i cannot say much on behalf of our dev team, but it seems like the scope we were initially aiming for was too high, which might have resulted in some buggy mechanics. Thank you very much again :D

Interesting correlation, thanks for suggesting, though it would've been to hard to make an endless rythm game.

Yeah, i think having the player further to the left would be a better design choice than to leave it in the middle. I'm glad you enjoyed the theme, visuals and sound tho!

I'm glag you enjoyed the simplicity of it!

I will say the scope that we aimed for was too difficult for our programmers to pull of during 3 days. We were gonna have logic gates [AND, OR, and NOT] that requires the player to switch the right switches to pass through, which would make our game more unique

Definitely true, our initial scope was too big, and even after having shrunken it down, our programmers were having a difficult time implementing every feature to the game. Thanks for liking our art tho! I made them

Pretty cool gimmick! And a cool art style too!

Hey im a pixel artist [though not very good] but im trying to improve. I recently did 2 game jams [GMTK and Brackey's] so i think i got down the way things work now. I sent a request on discord like 2 minutes ago

Absolutely stunning! I was so immersed in the experience. Amazing work from your art and audio team!

Thanks! Deadline was brutal so the game does have a few bugs

Thanks for enjoying our game and our art style!

Such a clever idea! Combining wave based PVE dungeons with code and a loop. Thouroughly enjoyed optimizing my code and the boss design was really cool.

Thanks, the deadline made it hard for us to get everything into place and check for every possible bugs. Maybe we'll come back to it and polish it.

Glad to hear you enjoyed our game! After all it was a 4 day deadline and it is our first game, so there wasn't much we could do about bugs.

Yeah, the game is up and working, but there needs to be polishing done in both the game's code and the art. The deadline is absolutely brutal.

Thank you for the kind comment!

Thank you! In fact our art team only had 2 days since we weren't even in the team for the first 2 days

Yeah, we kind of overscoped our game for our first time, so there are bugs, images that shouldn't be in some places, flowchart that shouldn't work some way, but afterall we have to deal with the time we had.
