has anyone used gdevelop before ?

I would tend to use it for Research and Q&A, Possibly mechanics testing

It's pretty crude and probably a joke to actual game makers but i find myself using Google Sheets constantly. Its a great database and the functions are pretty versatile for planning and testing drop chances and mechanics. Plus you can share, collab, and edit in real time which is great.

I sent a friend request on Discord. No rush if you ever have another one down the line, id be interested in hoping in to help and learn

I'm down. Whats the best way to link up? My Discord is CodeNamePope7439

Looking for a team. I've done one previous game jam as a game / level designer and had a blast. I have limited coding experience but my skills are in Game Design, Level Design, Concept Design, Art Design, Story / Lore writing, Digital Economies, Monetization, Project Management, Game Mechanics etc ... I love game design and want to help however I can.

Thanks

DaVinci789, I couldnt figure out how to message directly. lol ... We worked on a game jam game a bunch of years ago. FROST BEAT. Im looking to get back into  game and concept design again. Do you have any upcoming games, projects, or jams you are working on. I'd love to help. Thanks

I like the IDEA of varying level of AI usage. I'm all for using AI to help with the heavy lifting portions but I am completely against it in the design and creation areas.

So from what i understand the theme is announced when the jam starts. And the discords would be based on your team if they want to set one up or not. Now im new to all of this so i can't confirm 100%, but that has been my experience thus far.

Hello,

I am looking to join a group, jam, indie project or similar to help with Game Design / Concepts / Mechanics / Lore / Gameplay etc.

I have a Bachelors in Software Development, with a little bit of coding knowledge.

My main offerings are as follows

Game Concept & Design; Mechanics Concept & Design ; Game Play,  Digital Economies; User Experience; Writing / Lore; Game Theory; Game Balance; Replayability;  Monetization; Team Building; Project Management

FREE for help

Also available for longer term paying gigs for extended projects or legitimate indie devs

I'm looking to join projects that have structure and potential to release. There are far too many ambitious "starts" that never produce a finished project.
