Hey, I wrote some feedback on your jam page! Btw I'm also pretty new to making music for games, so most of aspects feels pretty fine to me, xd

I really like your choice of genre and mood of music for this game. The melody and synths sound pretty cool and make a good match with the general aesthetic.

However, a 30 second gap between two songs feels too empty to me. Because the game has pretty much no ambient sounds (like the sound of engines when you fly) you just find yourself in complete silence and it breaks the flow a little. Also related to this, the in-game SFX sounds good but there is a really small amount of it. Like I mentioned before it could be the sound of engines or other sounds of the spaceship, maybe some cosmic ambient sound would suit it well too.

Anyways, it's still pretty good work, I like it

Hi, I'm a sound designer / composer from the Inside Job game. Just looking for people who are interested in giving and taking feedback about everything related to sounds/music in games. Will try to reach out to as many games as possible and would appreciate hearing your opinion about my work too.

Made 3 different themes (1 theme has two versions, one for the main menu/good ending and another for the bad ending), the other 2 are made for the main gameplay cycle. A big part of the sounds was made from scratch using only synthesizers, but not all of them, some have just tweaks with time/pitch/EQ/fading to better match the game.

Hi, I'm from the specific topic about music so I'll make feedback mostly about this part:

Music theme subjectively sounds good to me. I can really see that it has a well crafted melody with good attention to progression and tone. Not sure about how well it fits the game though, just because it really has strong Deltarune or similar game vibes — maybe it's not that straightforward and the gameplay needed something with more pure energy. Sounds are kinda okay, maybe some have a little too sharp or high pitch, but it's not that critical.

Heyo, I'm a sound designer / composer from the Inside Job game. Would really appreciate an honest opinion on my work from another musician. Made like 3 different themes for the game and some sounds from scratch just using synthesizers. Will write a review for your game soon too!

As a chess player this immediately caught my attention. This game is one of my favorites from this jam so far. Really cool concept and interesting gameplay. It really challenges you to be attentive and precise. Also the visual and sound design is really good.

Pretty fun and simple one. Plays well but for all spy traits I quickly started looking only at the weight because it gives accurate information 100% of the time about who you need to pick.

Hey, I really like the choice of setting for this game, it adds really interesting vibes to a pretty basic interrogation game. Also the sound and graphic design is pretty good, it works really well.

Even though I was really bad at this game (like 3/4 of my choices were incorrect lol) it was still fun to play!

Well, I'm not really good at this game, haha, but it's still funny to play. Interesting concept and challenging gameplay!

Idea and design looks pretty cool, but after three-four fights you just start to be out of place for new units and dino attacs can't do anything to your defenders. If you add increasing difficulty later, this has good potential ^^

Really like concept, visual style and core mechanics of the game. It's pretty hardcore imo so my best attempt was about reaching 17lvl, but it was quite fun ;)
