love it, such a clever idea! the naturally escalating difficulty is really neat. I played twice, once using only easy doors the other using only hard doors.

fun idea with creative twists each level. great work

no worries, sorry i couldn't play your game.

i tried it a few times, I definitely had time leftover. I tried both with both vent invisibility and after de-activating it.

was the vent invisibility supposed to carry over after the timer runs out too? it felt maybe intended. I'm playing on firefox and ik atleast one other game that seemed to have firefox specific bugs (maybe something to do with the engine?) that would be hard to catch

how do you get past the first level? I got the target and moved into the beam of light but nothing happened. I tried getting all the guards, the target AND reaching the beam of light but i couldn't do it in time.

trickier than it looks. really love the minimalist UI and the background, looks really professional.

lasted 218 seconds.

very simple but strong idea and done really well. great work!

thanks for the tip, i managed to win with 5 cuts left :)

i think the reason i de-prioritised the objectives was because they're often impossible. like when the objective is the same size as your biggest floof. as far as i know, there’s no way to move a floof without splitting it, so the only way to achieve the objective is to re-combine or get rid of everyone of that size so it gets rerolled.

I mostly tried to use long cuts to get as many objects at possible, focusing on trying to get as many different sizes as I could so I could do any objective that appeared. The objectives where tricky though, I usually had too many pieces on the board blocking my way to the objective OR the number was too high. I went for the objectives whenever they felt achievable within 2 cuts. My closest run I had ~300 floofs left

such a creative idea & really cute execution.

found it really difficult though. didn't even get close in three tries.

thanks so much for playing, glad you enjoyed it :) and thanks for the feedback too.

thanks for playing & your feedback :)

Next jam i'll definitely look for some audio asset packs cus SFX sits outside of our groups expertise & I agree with you that you can feel its absence.

thanks for playing :)

thanks so much :)

the stream chat was my favourite bit too. I'll pass on your compliment to our musician, she was excited about having the music ramp up as the timer ticked down too.

thanks for your comment about the confetti, I definitely agree. It was one of those last minute additions to fix the closet + vanity minigames being a little unclear on if you had completed them or not. but we didnt consider adding them to the other minigames for the sake of consistency.

this looks incredible wow! Love the variety of obstacles

I didn't read the description so I was a little confused at first figuring out how to start the game, or what my abilities did.

arrow keys + Z + X or WASD + Mouse 1 / 2 .
WASD + E feels really cramped

thank you for letting me live out my dreams of being a mad evil scientist who places self destruct buttons everywhere

very fun, i love the narrative weight you added to the game and the skyline in the background.

love the art. very sweet ending. the controls feel a little awkward cus everything is on the left side of the keyboard.

The UI & enemy balancing is really well done for a 4 day jam. love the art

damn you got all these minigames and had time for a tutorial?! thats just showing off.

love the energy of this one, really kinetic. I managed to make it to the party juuuuuuust in time on my 2nd go.

Hey, our games are kinda similar! ours is also about going around your house & gathering items together within a time limit.

where is the printer? I couldn't find it after two playthroughs. I love the art, the main character is so cute and her house is so full of personality.

frog with a cowboy hat is peak character design

love the game feel on this one. One piece of feedback is that I feel the game gets easier over time rather than harder because all the furniture blocks enemy paths, making it easy to keep your distance.

the environment is so pretty. a really neat foundation for a card game. i felt like there were different strategies I could use to win. I think a hand / play limit would have helped. I won by drawing through my deck as much as I could then playing two four of a kinds in one hand whilst ignoring the "draw 2 but discard 1" effects.

aww, thanks so much. glad you liked the chat mechanic, we were really happy with it too :)

can't believe Count Binface is in a video game?! good luck in the by-election.

Love the visuals & comedy. awesome stuff

love it! 10/10 for music

the screen fading to black as you run out of air is a really creative touch. the controls are rly fun too.

omg its so cute, i love that you can name ur cats. the audio is so funny too haha. I couldn't figure out how to clean the drink spills, but plate spills were fine

you really capture the thrills and perils of a supermarket trip

super fun! I'm blown away at the level of polish, especially for a 4 day jam. great work

love the concept of playing as a game master for a battle royale, something ive wanted to see since seeing the hunger game movies. The game Darwin Project had a similar thing too. I managed to succeed on my third try. Really great game, impressive to make all this in just 4 days, good job!

great game, love the concept. it feels really tense. I found the first rival the hardest, once I'd got the hang of the game I won against the other two 3-0 easily.

(1 edit)

you could update the submission and in the "how does your game fit the theme" question, explaining that this is the wrong game. the rules say not to post links to other games in your submission though

definitely dont remove your submission, as there's no way to resubmit once the jam is closed

I'm gonna rate + comment for timer tiles since that was the game you intended to submit. I lasted 307 seconds. after a while, some tiles stopped working, as in I couldn't place tiles on certain grid squares. it got worse as the game continued so I assume there's some bug where grid tiles think they're filled when they're empty. Despite that, it was really fun. even through the bug, I could lift up tiles to protect them from death which felt like a neat trick I wouldn't have found otherwise. a really unique and elegant idea. great job!

love the puzzles and the character design.

I love how you've made space look, the space station at the start is rly cute too.

How did you get the game to be a smaller size in browser, even in fullscreen?

really cute character design, and some cool platforming mechanics. the controls felt a little messy (felt like i needed both hands on my keyboard and one on the mouse)
