Of course, maybe my take is just wrong. The tri-fold print preview looks awesome. Either way, if nothing else, your work will only get better, I'm sure! Good luck and thanks for the adventures!

Sorry, is this for Mothership, Greenhorns or something else?

Excellent aesthetics that compel one to dive right in and read - but, the layout, although awesome, has two small flaws that should be fixable: the end of the 2nd paragraph/room bleeds onto page 2, and the header and start of the 6th paragraph/room is awkwardly at the bottom left/end of the first column, before breaking over into the top middle/start of the first column. I believe that these are ultimately layout weaknesses that can be addressed with some effort, and perhaps elements like a tiny art piece (symbol even). I hope this isn't seen as cherry-picking criticism - I just think those are small blemishes to something that is otherwise fantastic. Disclaimer: I can't into layout/editing myself, so I'm wholly commeting as a reader, and understand that it takes time and effort to improve the layout as suggested. xD

Looks very good, but also very intense - perhaps a bit too busy visually. Still, the cool factor wins out. Looking forward to reading it.

Excellent aesthetics, good work.

I like the concept and obviously these are the bones of excellence, but I feel like a few things in the full version are left a bit too understated. As a two-pager it does everything well, yet, perhaps you could use some of the space on page 1 to help clarify further details about the intended mechanism/procedures, a stat block, a FAQ block... As it stands, there's a few questions I am left asking about how to exactly execute this; obviously I like gluing the pieces together and that's the point, but suggestions never hurt. Other than that: there's a typo with "into into" in the intro paragraph's second sentence. Good work!

I was mostly referring to the sea routes tbh, I don't recall roads bothering me too much now that I think about it! Tested it a few times now and it's all good.

I assume that's not just a renaming of HP into something else, but a different system for tracking damage?

Holy moly

The new update is great btw! As far as roads go, it's frustrating to sometimes have an awesome map and layout of cities, but the roads and sea routes kinda don't make sense - even a "regenerate" button for them would help.

Between this and Blister Critters, there's at least the semblance of a trend towards mutations in your work. Personally am not a fan of such themes, but this looks neat otherwise (and BC is very neat too).

Aesthetics on point!

Seems fantastic just from the previews. Good work!

Lovely work, some cool ideas with with simple yet effective presentation.
Hope you make more stuff some day!

The physical version looks great there!
The interior layout is clean, legible and well-formatted - no annoying paragraph breaks or leakage - yet has just enough texture and aesthetic, too.
Looking forward to reading it in earnest and running it, too! Perhaps for Vaults of Vaarn or The Electrum Archive...

The layout could be improved, but the rules are neat (and easy for me to grok, great considering I struggle with wargames for some reason) and the aesthetics/vibes chosen work well. Good work!

Seems cool! Perhaps the text should be larger and the contents spread out to, say, 4 pages.

Hi! Is there any plain text version? 🥺 Great work!

The preview pages look lovely, evocative in a understated way and very legible.

Any chance of adding the option to create roads, naval paths etc? Right now we kinda have to regenerate cities and hope for the best. :D

You could do it once the fancy new VoV 2e releases. :eyes:

Neat, thanks!

Welcome back, and good luck!

Excellent work. The auto-tool mode is particularly compeling, the whole thing has such a challenging and intriguing dimensionality to it.

Space Referee?? Preposterous!

The art makes me hope for an English version!

Interesting. Willing to try. How did you imagine "combat", dealing damage and recovering HP? Would HP be used for all kinds of conflicts, not just combat? Do enemies deal 1 HP damage per "Attack" and vice-versa?

Looks fantastic! Well done on the style!

Thanks and props for the spirited write-up!

Is this no longer available for purchase?

Props on the lovely and dedicated work!

Hi! Any chance of PoD also being available on DriveThruRPG and/or Lulu?
Amazon doesn't deliver to many areas and/or has absurd shipping prices.

Thanks!

Hi.

Basically if my submission is "D6 Monsters" or "D6 Encounters" for example, can my PDF submission also include the statblocks?
Or must it literally be only a table and whatever (short) bits fit within it?

Knowing that, aka knowing what is appropriate, desired and intended for this Jam will greatly influence what I focus on.

Thanks.

Elephant in the room questions: Are there any plans for PoD? How does this compare to Troika! as the established indie FF-inspired quirky British RPG?
Thanks, the art looks great!

Just looking to make sure I haven't gone insane lol

None of the "Print" options seem to be functional/available at this time. :/

First! (yes hello i am stuck in 2010)

Looking forward to giving this a try, thank you!

Q: if a monster has 4+ as Damage, does that mean that the player has to roll 5 and 6 to hit, or does 4 also hit?

Thanks for replying! The page thing didn't hurt my enjoyment of the zine. It's great quality btw - my copy of TEA 02 arrived a bit scuffed, but I think the quality of the new TEA 01 printing is better regardless.

Looking forward to TEA 03 and whatever version you end up doing later, be it a single hardcover or some player/Seer split or omnibus or w/e. :D

Read the zine last night in one sitting. About to read Issue 02, it just arrived in the mail. Excellent work, I'm so excited to read and run this!

Two questions:

1. The table of contents (and other pages that reference page numbers) seems to be off by 2. For example, the Fixer starts on page 10, yet is listed as being on page 12. The Character Creation page and table of contents both mention Equipment as starting on page 22 - but in reality it starts on page 20. This is odd but obviously not an issue as long no content is missing. :D For reference, I have the 3rd printing, version 1.5, 2025.

2. Of all things, I was baffled by Break!! being mentioned as one of the inspirations. Not implying anything negative - but I'm just very curious how that work inspired you?

And one criticism in good faith:

The NPC & Bestiary has a lot empty space. Considering that some of the statboxes/descriptions are very small (ie Fire Mantis), the zine itself has examples of very small and economical entries, meaning that the empty space could have easily been filled up with like 4-6+ additional monsters. Further, the illustrations (ie Elder Drone and Myriad Shrike) are great but easily could have been made smaller to feature more monsters and better utilize the limited space. Hope this doesn't come off as too needy (especially as a lot of the content is purposely vague and DIY), but with the excellent art and layout throughout the zine in mind, this part was comparatively a bit disappointing.

Great luck with any and all future work - looking forward to more TEA content, especially a hardback!
