How does the game fit the theme?
The theme "Trust No One" - in every case, someone is lying: the witness, the accused, or the evidence itself. Not even the inquisitor's own sanity, nor the Church he serves, can be trusted.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Database, Day and Night cycle.

How many people worked on the game?

The dark inquisitorial setting where you must interrogate suspects, analyze contradictory evidence, and question your own Church's motives fits the "Trust No One" theme with incredible narrative depth! Layering investigation mechanics, 3D room exploration, dynamic lighting, and day/night cycles across a 6-person team effort gives this entry a remarkably high production value and chilling atmosphere.

A few UI accessibility, text rendering, and tutorial polish ideas for post-jam updates:

- Text Accessibility & Cursive Font Option: Add a toggleable standard sans-serif/serif font option alongside cursive text, and fix UI string overflow issues (like the "_DESC" placeholder and verdict scroll clipping) to ensure documents remain crisp and readable across all monitor resolutions.

- Investigation Onboarding & Hints: Introduce subtle environmental highlights or a brief introductory case checklist during Day 1 to guide players through picking up evidence and opening case files without getting lost in the room.

- WebGL / Browser Build Export: Optimize asset bundles and look into releasing a WebGL browser build alongside the Windows/Linux executables to significantly lower the barrier to entry and boost community play-rates.

Stunning art direction, immersive inquisitorial atmosphere, and outstanding team execution! If you get a free minute, I'd really appreciate your detailed feedback and rating on my solo jam entry as well: /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4953523

The game's concept and art were really great. The game would have been even better if it had been browser-based—it would have attracted a lot of people to give it a try. But good job

the UI, art and shaders are really nice! there is a lot of reading but it fits the aesthetic and theme. at the start I was not so sure what to do but it was kind of fun exploring the room and figuring things out. there was a spot in the book where it appeared as _DESC. Sometimes the text is a bit thin and hard to read(but it could just be my monitor/resolution), and the font might be challenging for some people to read especially those who do not know cursive, a normal text accessibility option would be cool. when making a verdict the text did not fit into the scroll so I could not read that very well. I think I burned somebody on a stake and the case number did not update. I could not figure out how to update the second case... Overall a really nice concept with really nice art direction.

Love the style and setting of this game! Art is amazing, and the eerie mystery feel is so good. Very well done in the time! My only ask is for a few more handholds on what to do in the beginning, I was bit confused here and there.
