I can tell there is a lot here and I like the idea of a factorio style game about building an army. But this was very confusing to play. I could not figure out how to deploy my people or if I was making them correctly. From the screenshots this seems to be a fairly complicated game which is neat. But teaching the player how to play it is a challenge. I would shy away from scribbles on a page and instead give very concrete examples and walk the player through step by step.

Thanks for trying our game :)

Did you try the dedicated tutorial? If so where did you get stuck?

I did try the dedicated tutorial. I think it works ok until you get to the ones with the enemies. I had no clue how to get them to attack or what to do once they were assembled.

Maybe you didn’t see it because it’s in the center of the map, but there is a building there where the finished Camaras need to be delivered.

This is an example of what a factory that could finish the tutorial looks like.

A Factorio to finish a Tutorial

Also thanks for the feedback! It’s really hard to make a tutorial for a factory game, but the part where you got stuck is also useful information we can use to improve the game, because I believe a lot of people could enjoy it.

really cool game! i had the same challenge with my factory-ish game. i found that making more levels, one (or more) just dedicated to teaching a new mechanic was helpful. (my game is called Listless on my page if you want to check it out, its pretty similar to yours actually!)
