Great game with amazing visuals and sound effects, super satisfying to play!

Love me some snake, and this simple twist does enough to change it into something you play quite differently! NIce job. I got a score of 216660

From one funny godot-made snake game to the other; this game is super fun! Super simple but super satisfying gameplay!

Very nice take on Snake. I think it might be an improvement over the classic game. It's very frustrating when you get a super long tail and corner yourself though (skill issue moment). Great job!

Controls are smooth, art is neat, sounds are funny, gameplay is good. Great game.

amazing job on the artwork, it looks very polished and smooth. Fun game!

The fact that you buffer my inputs to allow for a rapid corner movement even when the snake has yet to reach the turn is the type of attention to details that impress me!

What a great take on the theme and a really solid game - total time sink. Sorta wish the level wrapped instead of "killing" the snake to totally remove the idea of penalizing the player and instead promoting going for insane lengths.

Great job!

I thought about it and would have loved to add it. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to implement the looping mechanic.

This is a very, very cute version of Snake! I love the graphic style! The snake's animations are adorable! Especially when he runs into walls. :D

Really very well done visually! Congratulations, really!

I really loved the twist on snake by making the length of your body edible based on it's length, makes you think about when to Ouroboros yourself while also giving the challenge of eating as close to the tip to maximize your score, really solid idea. The art was also really pleasant, simple but charming and the sound effects compliment it nicely. My only gripe is that there's not much of a lose condition, perhaps a few obstacle around the map could help make the player make more impactful decisions and really think about where they are going could go a long way in improving this game, but that's just a suggestion. Overall fun little game I enjoyed my time with it!

A very great take on the loop theme and a very unique twist on the snake game. Overall I think the game is superfun and addictive. My only complaint is that the looping and bumping into the edge/dying takes way too long. Could you try my game?

A very nice twist on the original snake game. I always struggled with biting the tail.

The input is a little laggy and it turns off the mood and satisfaction of the game.

Well made nonetheless

I like the SFX. They do get a bit repetitive, but the retro feel makes up for it. Your idea for "loop" is top-notch; very cool. The visuals are simplistic, but pleasing and cohesive.

The controls were fine, altough I do have 1 major complaint and 1 minor one. Firstly, it felt as though my input was delayed (perhaps it was only registereed upon releasing the key, instead of as soon as it's pressed). Secondly, personally, I would have liked to use WASD; I'm much more comfortable with it (ergo, supporting both arrow keys and WASD would have been nice). Regardless, I got used to the controls after a couple of attempts and did well enough.

The polish feel of biting your tail was well done; the little animated sequence is fun to watch. I also like how you handle the player hitting the walls; instead of going to a menu, you just get concussed and start again from there.

Cool submission.

I think the delayed inputs is on purpose to make your snake stay in the grid. It's also like that in the orignal snake game.

Super cool sound design and animations here!

Well done! :D

Really nice! I wish I'd thought to do the checkerboard floor. The arrow-press sound is so satisfying

Such a polished game! Great concept and execution. Love the animation when you hit a wall

This is some of the most satisfying gameplay I've seen yet, and the sound design elevates it to incredible heights! Great job!

That's my favorite part of the game.
