How does your game fit the theme?
One Day to Save Them embraces the "Loop" theme through its 1-minute time loop gameplay, where players relive the same moment to disarm a bomb in a gritty urban town. The innovative "Loop Echoes" mechanic lets players save actions (e.g., interacting with a bulletin board or guard) as echoes, which perform tasks simultaneously in future loops, creating strategic cycles of planning and execution. Each loop builds on past attempts, with echoes looping player actions to solve puzzles faster, perfectly tying the theme to the race against time.

Cool idea. It fits the theme nicely. Being able to go back to where you last were is an interesting twist on these types of games. Perhaps, outside of the short game jam, you could explore it further.
Maybe I'm missing something, but the description says you have 1 minute, yet the game only gives me 15 seconds. Making the space bar the interact key would've made it easier to play, especially given the very short loop duration.
first of all thank you for playing my game. its an honor that you guys liked it. I'm sorry for my lack of polish
This game is fantastic. The idea of dying and resetting in a loop is a commonplace that easily leads to boring games, but by forcing the player to act only in a few seconds, and the use of echos as a teleportation mechanic gives it a totally refreshing spin! I agree with other comments that it should be easier to interact with stuff, but nonetheless, congrats on the game!
thank you so much for playing my game. its an honor that you guys liked my game
I love the art style in this game, so damn cool! The mechanic of teleporting back to your "clone" with each loop is a very nice touch, you could create some awesome puzzles with that :D I would have loved to be able to skip the dialog with each loop, as once I saw all the options it became a little annoying, but not so much that it affected my playthrough. Really nice game man, good job :)
first of all I'm really really thank you for playing my game. and thats an honor that all of you guys liked my game. its mean so much to me.
Really liked the game idea, but had trouble with interaction. Overall, good job.
thank you for playing my game
Really cool idea! The echo mechanic was unique and gave a nice edge against time. I liked the concept but wished interacting with objects was a bit easier. Great work overall!
thank you for playing my game
It would have been a good game if it wasnt for the really bad detection of interacting... pls fix it. Thats the only major problem with it other than that it would have been great!
im so sorry for my lack of polish. thank you for playing my game
It was hard to interact with stuff. Super cool idea though!
thank you for playing my game
Cool

Really cool idea! The echo mechanic was intriguing and definitely gave the player an edge against time. Nice job!
thank you for playing my game.
It's a cool idea and really nice art. Just wish I could properly play it
thank you for playing my game
Very cool idea
thank you for playing my game
I like the idea you're going for. I definitely would have liked it if it was a bit easier to interact with things (maybe the interact collision could have been a bit bigger or something). The teleporting mechanic complements the interaction mechanic very nicely. I hope you keep working on this, good job!
thank you for playing my game
nice one ๐

I want to be able to try this game, but I've tried for 10 minutes or so and was unsuccessful in interacting with a single object. Is there a specific place I should stand or button to hold down to make progress? I see that several people were able to make much more progress than me, and I can't tell what I'm doing wrong, and I'm wondering if my computer is different somehow. Please can you provide a walkthrough of how to interact with the first object, and I can see if I'm able to do that?
first of all im soo sorry about lack of polish. for interact button you have to stay right under of objects to be able the interact with them
No worries. This might be specific to my computer. It's odd, as even when I am in the pixel-perfect center of the object with the label "BOARD" above it and press "E" early in the loop (which I believe one of the initial sheriff dialog options tells me to do), nothing seems to happen.
EDIT: With the help of a macro that spams the E key, I was able to beat the game. Definitely an interesting concept, taking advantage of information so that the 15 seconds are enough. I'd be interested to see how this concept could be expanded upon. (slight SPOILER alert: I can imagine a trickier puzzle that could be added that would require you to use multiple echos in a single loop to get all the materials you need, although such a puzzle could be frustrating if you fail the maneuver and have to do the whole setup again.)
again. thank you for playing my game. I really happy that you enjoyed it. thank you so much
This game is so pretty! And that is a brilliant take on the theme! Nice work!
thank you for playing my game
Gorgeous art and interesting stories are combined with the plot!!!! Sorry, my vocabulary is very poor!๐ญ
thank you for playing my game
Great concept and gorgeous art, I won't harp on the interact issue because other people have mentioned and this is ultimately a game jam game so there's only so much polish you can add in such a short amount of time. Instead, I want to compliment the unique interactions here, and the echoes are a good addition to the format of these small loop linear games. Honestly if you just fixed the interaction issue, and gave the dialogue system a nicer color scheme and presentation, you'd really have something awesome here
thank you so much for playing my game
cool art style, and gameplay, good job!
thank you for playing my game
Very well excetuded, art style is amazing!
thank you for playing my game
I liked the idea , the presentation and the sense of urgency. Like other said, the interact button didn't seem to work very well, which hurt the experience. It took me a while but I think I understood what I need to do at first, but it was very hard to keep progressing with such a tight timer. Maybe even increasing the timer for a bit can mitigate the controls. I mean it's not like preventing a bomb from exploding in am minute is reasonable :)
