I saw this game on the GMTK livestream and I quite like it, but there is one major design flaw: you can just change one word once and then another one again. Now I don't really know what the purpose of the actual gameplay is but it is fun when you don't cheese it :D

Hi, i'm not sure what the bug you are talking about is, but the purpose is that you can always change one letter in a word, and then again and again. Your goal is to make the longest chain of changed words, but you HAVE to end with the word you started with, otherwise you lost.
its not a bug. If i have the work Slit, I can change it to slat, and then just change it to slit again
The game was simple but fun to play. There's a lot of ways you can extend the words, but it does present a risk of getting stuck and not making it back to the original word, which is a good risk-reward assessment on cashing on or going longer. Would love to see a dedicated high score table to help players push how far they can take the game against each other. Well done on the wonderful game :)
English is not my first language, so it was actually good practice. Very polished, good job!
This has to be one of my favorite games of this jam. I enjoyed played it a lot. I love the artstyle and just the idea of the game and the loop theme. My only complaint is that it doesn't support azerty keyboards so I would definitely add that and also being able to see more than you're 5 previous answers. Overall a very nice game and I will 100% play it again! Could you rate my game?

Pretty fun search and learning new words. Had to brute force guess a bit because vocabulary isn't really my thing.

Only being able to change one tile at a time adds a surprising amount of challenge to the word game formula, especially with having the looping back goal. Really fun challenge!
Amazing word puzzle! I love how the single letter rule makes you really dive deep into your vocabulary and the looping rule is a cherry on top. Great game!

I wonder wether you should add a system to encourage player looping back to their initial word after some time (for example, setting a random goal at the start of the game : "your objective is to make a loop with between 25 and 30 entries")
We would lose the infinite aspect that is really nice, but that would add an extra layer of complexity
