Very fun and addictive! It's impressive how polished and bug-free the game is. The music and SFX are very cool, and the underground entity is very creative. Excellent job!
Lovely! The mining minigame reminds me of digseum :D
Nice thing you have here. Seeing the X,Y coordinates in the top definitely gives me a pleasant jam feel. I do that sort of thing myself a lot. After reading instructions and learning I can dig, I was pleased to make some progress. I made it to a minigame. I guess I solved it easily but wasn't sure what was going on there for a bit. It will take a deliberate attempt to try and solve a level/game in order for me to understand more about what is going on here. I also liked the flipped character for left and right movement.
Ahh, I found out what its about. Digging and finding the bones, bringing the bones back to the different people and things it seems. A nice adventure that surely could occupy some time. Minigames are a nice touch.
When I saw the words, MINE MINE MINE, I was thinking ownership terms of MINE, duh, stupid me, I get it now, MINE, like digging! duh!!! Makes total sense and use of bombs to dig more/faster, but the shovel and the pick in minigames, etc. Wow, where is my mineD right now!
Thanks for playing the game!
I had many ideas that I thought about implementing but couldn’t because of my limited time to work on the project. I tried to show that the NPCs are all self-centered (reflecting the confusion you had when reading the game’s name :D), and that the player feels unfulfilled with working in the mine. Seeing the current feedback, I might actually keep working on this afterward to make a bigger game out of it.
The coordinates were an initial concept for fast travel inside the mine, which I scrapped, however, because it didn’t feel like it improved the game loop in its current state.
I hope you enjoyed it, and good luck with your own project :)
I liked the game, it’s a nice idea. I can definitely see this being developed further and becoming a full game in the future.
Liked the game but really confused when i got to the ending qwq
Enjoyed this game a lot! Enticing gameplay paired with good sound design and amazing pixel art. And the mining game takes me back to the Pokemon fossil minigames. Well done!
Really amazing gameplay, great visuals and sound design, and a really good soundtrack to tie it all together. I really like how this game mixes classic mining games and a puzzle aspect. I also love how the atmosphere of the game completely shifts at the end there. Even though it was a short game, the fourth wall break/plot twist ending was so amazing and I had a lot of fun. The only issue I had was the weird wall clipping thing a few other people mentioned. Other than that, you did an awesome job!
Super chill amazing and fun dialogue that is a nice callback to old games.
The main gameplay loop was pretty fun, I did get a bit frustrated looking for bones, as it was the last thing i needed and all of a sudden I found 5 on top of each other, if there's a system to make missing items spawn more, that is super smart and well appreciated.
The sound desig nis also pretty nice
I repeatedly got stuck on tiles when id build long tunnels, and the last end area had amazing heart and well written dialogue, but is that the end? I'd feel like i'm doing a disservice by stopping there but I couldn't find any more gameplay
Really chill and enjoyable experience. I enjoyed digging my way around the play area, but found that I'd often get snagged on tiles as I was trying to move—especially when I coming out of the digging mini game. I completed all three of the statues and went on to the final area (at least I think that was the end), but it wasn't immediately clear if that was the end. Let me know if I should keep digging around!
Reminds me of the pokemon mining game but the exploration with bombing and pickaxing adds a new dimension to it. Excellent work!
I had fun just running around and removing the walls haha. I liked the idea of adding another option to Digseum-style mechanics and it was neat to get some long-term goals right from the jump! I only wish I could do something with my extra goodies...
the ending was...surprisingly sweet and touching. thank you for sharing your art.
Enjoyed the entire game! Simple, but interesting way to interpret. The UX is tricky and has flaws, but acceptable!
Yoo! Thats really awesome masterpiece! If you refine the UI a bit, make user-friendly control instructions, and sensitively reduce the player's collider so that it doesn't touch the corners of the walls, it will turn out very cool.
My biggest treasure on the screen 😁
I got it 🔥
holy moly! great job, team! if it was a little bit clearer what to do, you could dang near charge for this as-is. VERY IMPRESSIVE. i used to play a game called 'miner dig deep' on xbox 360 indies, this reminds me a bit of that but with more structure.
There were a few minor spelling/grammar issues ("digged" instead of dug, etc)
Thanks for playing the game! I really appreciate the feedback.
Also thanks for pointing out spelling errors (woopsie) XD
