How does the game fit the theme?
Takes place on the strange planet of Glorptopia which is a floating island in the middle of space?! how strange to build a park there.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some code from previous projects of mine and sfx from pixabay.

Cute and cozy, love the alien voices, no matter how repetitive they are you gotta admit you can't get enough of it :D It's like you took games in the same spirit as Roller Coaster Tycoon and simplified it to the core, and it works. Good job!
Thank you so much!!!
I really loved the art style. It looks beautiful!!!! :) The core idea is clear and fun, nice job!
thank yew so much!!
Your game is very good. It's a mix of Sim City and that amusement park simulator game whose name I forgot, mixed with aliens. Very cute and very casual. You can lose track of time playing this game. Congratulations!
thank you so much! I love your game too!
The fact that you took the time to make this is just wonderful
ICan'tKeepSayingEveryGameIsMyFavoriteICan'tKeepSayingEveryGameIsMyFavorite. This is the best game ever, you did an amazing job on this, and I can tell you put a ton of effort into it. Great work, seriously. I can't wait to play whatever it is you make next. Also, if you end up updating this in the future, you should make it so I can put the glorps I don't like inside of my trash bins. Some of them were starting to look at me funny...
LMAO yes I do plan on adding more content, thanks for playing!!
This is a perfect game for me, I just spent 30 minutes grinding aliens to make my screen all green.
LMAO I’m glad you enjoyed, it will become a full game soon!
omg this game is so cute and sillyyy! i loved playing it! it reminded me of one of our game's character "lord glorpion" loll such a collab
you did a great job by yourself! it was rlly satisfaying playing it :) just for a feedback it would be nice to show the amount of glorpoids needed to buy stuff in the delivery!
thank youu!!
The purchase menu does show the price?
Overall, I think the concept and vibe are incredible but some of the gameplay aspects were a bit tougher for me. I was confused at the start by a number of things honestly though that made it hard to get into. In all honesty, I got to a little over a star rating of 2.5. I couldn't understand how to buy the cosmic crunchies for a long time. The fact that the star rating had the 0/10 and the 0/5 total stars made me confused why I wasn't able to buy them. I also thought the ramp up was a bit slow so it was hard to tell if I was being impatient or doing something wrong.
That said, so much of this game clearly shows a lot of intention and work otherwise. The animations are stellar, the concept is truly original, and I feel like you really created a world in its own right.
thank you so much!! I’ll try to work on clarity
Honestly i love tycoon games this was extremely fresh in a jam with alot of side scollers, (i made one no one can diis this statement) very enjoyable!
hehe thanks!!
This game is cute and charming! I like the little bouncy movement of the aliens. It would get a bit noisy quick after hundreds of them on the board though. Very incremental idle kind of game but with city builder twist to it. Also I guess I can just move the trash can around and it automatically attract all the trash to it haha. I enjoy it very much, it's also very polished and fun, great job on the submission!
Thanks for playing!!! I added sound setting just incase people got annoyed
A tasteful way of presenting capitalism to children, absolute Glorptastic.
Wait you right
This game is adorable, funny and I like the simple aesthetics. The sound effects are great, and the interactions between glorps and buildings is very seamless, i really like how they actually use the buildings.
The progression curve is a bit of a rollercoaster ride, the start was a bit slow and I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong, and then it suddenly sped up a lot, but nothing that really broke the game.
Very Glorp game!
yeah the progression was something I don’t have a lot of time to play test for so it’s a bit unbalanced but I really appreciate you playing!!
This might be the best game of all time! Make this into something bigger I beg.
Also love how you got the title screen to seamlessly integrate into your pages background. It looks awesome! AND love the UI flourishes everything just feels so playful I was smiling the whole time.
it’s in the works to something bigger!! Thanks for noticing the game page, it’s a small thing but takes a lot of thought!
This is peak. So much polish, fun gameplay, and a lot of charm. No idea how you made this in a week. Great job
thank you so much!!! Lots of grinding and sleepless nights
Maaaan, what a game. I absolutely love cute weird alien creatures in any form. I've always liked this kind of game where you manage an amusement park, but the more casual ones, not the actual simulators. And man, what happened with the recycler - why did it get so big that I couldn't place it or anything else? Thank god I was still able to finish the game by buying everything without actually placing it!
sorry about thattt T-T its a bug I need to fix
- fixed
Extremely cute. Did hit a strange bug where when placing a trash can it rapidly absorbed all the trash and became as big as the screen which (while *very funny*) did prevent me from placing the trash can.
yeah need to fix.. thanks for playing even tho!!
- fixed
We can tell there's some Startopia in this! With more alien needs to take care of it would be really lovely.

ive honestly never heard of it till now but i see it. On the to-do list!
Holy glorporini, these little guys almost bogos my binted, but I distracted them with the glorp statue, so Im safe now.
On a serious note now, I liked it, i just think that the pacing at the start could be a little faster in unlocking more stuff (maybe to 2 or 3 stars), and the pacing at the end could be slower, specialy for the 5th star, i just placed down 5 popcorn machines and i was getting a lot of money fast. Also I don't think the trash on the floor did anything, if it did I didn't realise, maybe if one of the glorps saw trash on the floor they could get locked out of spending money for a few seconds could be a sugestion.
But overall is a solid sily little game.
First of all love your park! But yeah I get your progression critique, I wish I had more time to test the progression my self by sadly didn’t. I do plan on turning it into a full release with a lot more content so that will be heavily worked on. Also the trash can be sucked in or thrown away into the recycler for money. Appreciate the in depth feedback and thanks for playing!!
i dont understed game
it’s a tycoon game😅
glorp = gaem good
I saw some of your stuff on Discord and I was like I have to play this. The UI is super juicy and the built-in tutorial is straight to the point.
I know this is an idle game and I don't know if the amount of gameplay fits what you were aiming for, personally I wish the gameplay was a bit more involved, the trash pickup is a start but could happen more often, or having structures combo with each other and needing you to optimize placement. EDIT: Okay having let the game run in the background some more the trash thing does pick up x)
Also I'm still not very clear on the placement rules. From what I understand it needs to be near the road but not too close, and not too close to another object. Having highlighting in the area where you can put down the object, or have them snap automatically to the nearest available spot when not hovering a valid spot could make things smoother.
But yeah it's a super cute game and I think you did a great job managing scope, it feels like you completely achieved what you set out to do, I think with more people this has the potential to be a jam classic.
yeah for my full release im gonna switch it to a grid based so it’s less finicky, just couldn’t figure out how to in time to finish the jam. I also plan on adding events like ufos invading and you have to destroy them and other likewise events. I appreciate the in depth feedback, thank you so much!!
also I need to play your game, I also saw on disc, it looks sick!
