Oooh Luck be a Landlord + Peglin/Peggle + Minecraft?! You are taking inspiration from all the right places. Nice work on this game, it was a ton of fun - I'm saving this for later.
I think the core game loop was quite fun. There was also a surprising amount of content too with the various weapons, consumables, and enemies. I beat the boss in just the first run (saved for relics and the occasional extra pickaxe) so I think some extra difficulty could be nice for more replayability. I would also love a little greater enemy variety (most seemed to basically shoot me for various amounts of damage. And my one concern that I was not clear on is the durability system - I didn't know if my weapons would break after use for the rest of the fight.
I hope you continue building this out - the game loop is familiar enough with a lot of the recent indie roguelikes\lites, but I think the formula here is fresh enough to be special!
What happens when you combine Die in the Dungeon and Binding of Isaac with Minecraft digging? This masterpiece. Was quite addicting, maybe you could make it into a full game with content and more polish and I'll totally play it all day. Well done!
Cool game, I really enjoyed it. It wasn't the strangest game I've played this jam but it was fun. I got to the end with 2 health left so it felt like a good challenge.
Really cool game roguelike gambler.
I had a lot of fun maxing out the cash register until i could basically one shot spider boss, also the bandaid is actually op lol, wish it got harder late game but of course this was only made in a week so extremely well done to yall i played for way longer than i expected
The core mechanics feel quite potential, expecting your could keep working on it!
I do find the strategy place really limited. Most of the time, there is just not much to do, in both the rolling stage and the building stage. It seems like what I can do and what I should do is crossing my fingers. For a rogue-like game, I do hope my thoughtful consideration and careful playing can hugely affect the result.
However, I do not know what should be a better way to implement the idea. After all, the flavor of the game is the SLOT MACHINE, which just means randomness. Apparently, exploring a good balance between strategy and randomness would endow the game with more fun and depth.
Great game, Could easily be a full game already.
Fun, Easy to learn, nice cute pixelart
The bouncing animations when you hit blocks/enemies is a really nice polish piece, I had a great time playing!
Interesting game! I almost won, I left boss on 8 hp!
Fun to play! Great job on this one!
Very enjoyment game!
I really had lots of fun playing the game! Very cool concept- and I definitely can see the game turning into a full game once you add more levels - one can play it for hours without getting bored:)
only small issue I can comment on, is when you get a damage and camera makes a shift sometimes it's a bit too much upwards that part of the character is out of the screen view - but it's a very minor issue and doesn't impact on the joy from the game:)
It was fun to play. Great Work!
I loved the mechanic! Really scratches that rogue-like itch. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well, great graphics and sound.
I really liked this game. I found a bug that lets me keep rolling during the enemy’s turn but it made it more fun. I played for way too long lol
0_0 Wow. How many times you killed the boss for this?
I think I played for an hour at least lol
Really fun take on the slot machine roguelike genre and really well polished. Great job!
Definitely a unique concept, think there's a ton of potential there
Incredible game! Very fun and addictive, I've played for like 40 minutes.
One bug I found (but I was really trying to break the game) was that when you kill an enemy with a knife while there is another animation going on that would kill it, you get softlocked. Obv this shouldnt really happen to anyone else
Really fun and well polished
