This game is really amazing overall! It's so polished and every part is great! The gameplay is fun, and the upgrade system being on a grid is a great spin on everything! The art, dialogue, and overall atmosphere is also incredible! I really hope this game wins because it's definitely the best I've played so far, I would definitely pay for a full version!

It's really good and pretty fun, I don't see how it fits the theme of the jam however. Other than that there isn't really any complain I have, good artwork, solid mechanics, cool upgrade system, well done game overall!

Very well polished and fun. Amazing how a few left, right, and dodges can be satisfying. Animation well implemented. Felt a little like a WII boxing but even higher end. Great job. (also liked the crowd cheers in the background).

This is so repulsive to me in a creepy-crawly way, and I absolutely love it.
I have to appreciate the pencils as the ring poles, it's just straight up nice to see the thought and effort put into the feel and visual aesthetic of the game. The implants are a really cool spin on the punch-out format too. The story mixed with the atmosphere creates such a gritty tone and it's amazing. All of the opponents are visually unique and bring a good challenge.

Had a ton of fun, some of the text was kinda hard to read but I was enjoying my time even as someone who has never played the game this may or may not be directly inspired by!

Amazing game! I just wish you could see text after you beat a fighter, i never got to see the losing text for a few of the boxers
I love how everyone else is kinda cartoony, but your just a realistic cockroach, really hammers in the vibe

As someone who really likes Punch Out: this is awesome!! Adding an upgrade system to that type of formula/gameplay definitely was a welcome idea, it breathed some new life into the gameplay loop for sure

I really liked how the story built up slowly as you progressed through the game. I also liked the visual style of this game and the upgrade system. I think the upgrade system is a little unbalanced, but this game was overall amazing.
Thanks so much. We tried are best to balance it but i'd have to agree, although it is alot of fun using some of the op builds. I enjoy trying to find them.
