This game is beautiful and the animations look fantastic. The characters have great personality to them, and it makes the game feel rich rather than forcing you through tedious dialogue. You already mentioned the nav mesh and collisions need help, and I think everything will work together nicely once you implement the ideas you discussed regarding blocking and parrying. Let me know if you keep updating this!

The game looks great and the movement is really solid. There is one issue with the animation I ran into, if you attack during your second jump the animation freezes when you land. I also think maybe healing the player to full when they enter a new level would be nice. Also, and some audio options would be nice.

The dialogue is great and the characters are nice. The combat is fairly simple but fun. Great game.

I really liked this game, and I thought the premise and idea were really great!  There were several bugs I noticed, but I didn't really think they impacted gameplay much.  There seemed to be an invisible enemy that I kept getting hit by in the first level, and if you killed the mushroom enemies before talking to the first quest giver, then you couldn't complete the level because they wouldn't get credited.  That was the main issue I had with the first level, but once I figured it out, I was able to work around it.  I thought the level design and the platforming were really well done, and the graphics and character design were great.  Overall, I think it was really great!

While the game looked really good and the art was really nice, there's a lot of bugs that make the game hard to progress unless you know how to avoid them. The pause to title is missed up, I got hit by a slime that was on a platform above me, there are death zones inside of the map that the player can run around. Also a suggestion, try to have the quest save even when the player dies on that level. Having to go back was really annoying personally. Also  maybe include that the player has a double jump and or mention they unlocked a new ability "Double Jump" or "Dash" followed with the key binding. Again, great art, just some really annoying bugs.

The art is great, the characters are cute, and the mechanics are fairly satisfying. The potential for soft locking if you finish a quest before talking to the NPC is a bit rough, and there are some hitbox issues, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this! I'd love to see this become a full game.

This game had me staring at the title screen for a solid minute. I was not expecting a game like this and was extremely happy to see one. The art is beautiful, and the animations are clean. Some bugs I ran into were that the player gets hit out of nowhere sometimes, the dash seemed not to work, and on the bottom floor, the running animation bugged and wouldn't play. I really hope you continue working on this game cause its beautiful.

Ill be honest, I was grinning ear to ear when I was playing this. So much charm put into it and it was fun as well. I love that their even non essential dialogue. Unfortunately The animations  break a lot and their a lot of soft lock situations and things that don't work. Plus playing after going on the title screen in the menu doesn't work. Still I had a blast with this game. I think their a lot of amazing potential with something like this. I hope you either expand this or heck just make another game, because it was so good.

This game has a very strong artistic style, with nice visuals, music, and an ambitious overall design. The narrative and assets stand out, and the controls work fairly well. However, there are quite a few bugs that hurt the experience, such as broken animations, disappearing UI elements, getting stuck on enemy hitboxes, and taking damage unexpectedly. While the game shows a lot of potential, the technical issues make it harder to fully enjoy.

I really like the art and the music for this game. The controls work well enough, and I like how you came up with an entire narrative for this game. However, there are more than a few issues with the game. Firstly, the animations tend to break, causing the main character to move around without a walking animation or get stuck in their attack animation. Second, when the player dies, the text telling them how many buds they have and the number of items they've collected/enemies they've killed for their objective disappear. Thirdly, the player can get stuck on enemy hitboxes, which makes it difficult to get around certain obstacles (in the second level, when jumping from platform to platform, I got stuck on the hitbox of a flower enemy and was unable to move until I killed it). Finally, there are times when I got hurt by nothing at all, as I have gotten hurt from walking around even if there was no enemy to hurt me. Overall, very impressive game, but it has too many bugs to really get into it like that.

The style of your game is very nice and ambitious. I am assuming you created all your assets and animations and I think they look really good. The gameplay is a bit less interesting for my tastes but I feel as though it is more of a platformer anyway.
